“Convenient”
My only complaint is that the restaurant was pretty high priced for mediocre food. Very clean, helpful smiling staff.
“Delta Hotel in Guelph--Excellent!”
What a great hotel! It's brand new and it's a lovely. The room and bathroom were very clean and decorated in a modern/contemporary motif. We stayed in a very well laid out room with two double beds. We had lunch the next day at the buffet and it was excellent. There were many choices from roast beef, salmon, salads, fruit, as well as eggs (prepared to your liking) to pastries and sweet desserts.
“Staff Informed, Friendly and Responsive”
This hotel is relatively new (1-2 yrs) on the Guelph scene. I returned to Guelph as an alumnus after 40yrs to reacquaint and reminisce with classmates. The Delta accomodated our desire to gather both formally and informally over breakfast/dinner and cocktails. Staff was unobtrusive while remaining available to meet individual requests. The experience for me and my wife was flawless.
“My Kingdom for a duvet cover.”
Stayed at hotel for a total of 6 nights. Overall very satisfied with a few minor exceptions. Duvet covers for beds - duvet covers consisted of 2 flat sheets so they tended to tangle up while sleeping. Proper duvet cover would easily remedy this. Housekeeping - more than satisfied with housekeeping. Only issue, (very minor) left room for sole purpose of having it cleaned, returned an hour later and it hadn't been cleaned. Very nice hotel with very pleasant staff. Will stay again if ever in Guelph. Very conveniantly located, close to shopping centre and University.
“Nice Hotel”
The room is very nice but it cost way too much to park and this was not communicated prior to the stay.
“Excellent hotel across the street from Guelph university campus”
This is a new hotel with very comfortable rooms. Quiet. Free wireless in the rooms. Service in the bar was slow and amateurish but the food was excellent. Sunday brunch in the restaurant was not great but the a la carte was just fine. We chose this hotel as it was really close to the University of Guelph - it is certainly convenient for that.
“Best hotel for visiting Guelph university”
New hotel with great furnishings and restaurant.
“Standard Fare”
Nice, New hotel. Not as nicely outfitted as I was expected given the rate (i.e. vinyl insert shower instead of tile, etc) but a good place. My only complaints (and they are minor in nature) is that it seems ridiculous to have a hotel in an industrial park make you pay for overnight parking, and I can't understand why i always have to go back downstairs because my key-card doesn't work. Otherwise, a good place.
“Superbe hotel tout neuf”
Grandes chambres très design Restaurant très agréable Service très souriant
“Will stay again”
Nice hotel. Perfect for business trip. Beds very comfortable. Staff friendly.
