“Looking forward to returning, and exploring more!!!”

Excellant stay!!! Friendly and helpful staff!!! Excellent location!!!! Visited Kingston for a show at the K-Rock Center and was surprised that I could practically throw a rock and hit it from my balcony!!!!!! Lots of nice shops in and aroundd the area, with lots of places to choose from to eat all in walking distance!!!!

“By the lake”

Great location by the lake although our visit was in winter so not much activity. Easy walk to the main city centre and hockey stadium.

“Typical Experience except for the food”

The restaurant on the top floor is expensive for the quality of food and service. My $33 steak was delivered well done (asked for medium) and my wife's Seafood Linguini was served with spaghetti noodles and a few shrimp.

“Fun stay, typical hotel”

This specific Holiday Inn was your typical hotel. However, there's nothing wrong with that. I enjoyed my stay and had no problems with any of the hotel employees. (ie room service and front desk service)

“Au pied du lac”

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l'emplacement et la qualité des chambres et des installations (piscines intérieur et extérieure). En revanche pour les points négatifs, nous avons eu la surprise désagréable de payer le parking de l'hôtel et l'internet ne marchait pas.

“A cool and noisy experience!”

The hotel is of an old internal construction (steel frame I suspect) and although all the interior has been modernised nothing has been done to improve sound proofing between rooms (left and right and up and down and along the corridors). The sound of mid afternoon love making whilst working down the corridor was amusing but not what I would have wanted to explain to my young children had they been there! The ability to hear nearly every word of conversations / telephone calls in adjoining rooms was also a major drawback! The newly opened hotel bar and resturant was also very chilly, my wife and I had to wear our jackets as did other diners - even the waitresses complained and tthey were working hard! So all in all not an experience I would recommend to a friend
