We stayed one night in between a visit to Pinnacles west entrance and going to Pinnacles east entrance. The lady at the check-in was friendly. The man was not as friendly. The room had a musty smell to it. The lighting was dark. The toilet had a very weak flush. The bathroom was not as clean as I would have liked it. The hair dryer was missing the fan cover, so that could have been dangerous to use. The price that we paid for two rooms was more than any of the other places we stayed on our central CA road trip (Monterey, Atascadero, Solvang) with worse conditions, worse breakfast and worse local dining options. We stayed here in between a visit to Pinnacles West entrance and Pinnacles East entrance. If I were to do it again, I would have just stayed at the Pinnacles east campground, brought in our own camping food, and had an earlier start to the day. The man at breakfast was not friendly and the breakfast options were limited.

I had 2 interactions with staff. Check in and check out. Different people. Both made me feel like I was bothering them. Had to haul my luggage up the stairs after a long drive. Couldn't see an elevator (never did find it) and wasn't about to ask.

Clean decent bed roomy room. Breakfast had nothing for gluten free / sugar free people. Eggs even hard boiled would have made it much better. Decaf coffee from machine was terrible.

The property has been upgraded with new carpets, bathrooms, paint, bedding etc. Our king room was large with a desk, sepearte lounge chair, frig and microwave and new TV. We will definitely be staying again. Breakfast was included as well as a well maintained pool on the property.

Room was great, lots of mirrors, so the girls had plenty of room to get ready. Parking for the truck was terrible. Spaces were tight, turning out wasnt easy.

Never again!
The owner wasn’t very hospitable. My booking was under my married name and I didn’t realize that. I booked it using hotel.com and the room was already paid for. But he wouldn’t give us the room until I figured out that part even tho I showed him on my phone the reservation. He was very argumentative. I didn’t appreciate that at all. But his dog came out to say hi and that made up for his behavior.

Todo muy bien ! Fue como estar en casa . Un lugar tranquilo para descansar . Con excepción del hombre recepcionista del turno de las 3 pm quien es despota y arrogante; solo necesita dar una buena bienvenida y atender a los huéspedes con amabilidad; este tipo con cara de despreciocon una actitud reprobable. hago una invitación a la manager del este lugar a capacitar a su personal; recuerden que todo esta en como te reciban y el trato que te brinden . El lugar muy limpio. felicitaciones al personal de limpieza hacen un excelente trabajo .

Beds super comfortable. CLEAN, Clean, Clean. Everything worked just fine. Just what is expected. Slight problem with TV caused by prior renter was quickly solved by knowledgeable manager. Loved this place . It will be my regular now in King City.

Very aggressive cleaning crew. Getting ready to get in the shower and heard the keycard in the door without even a knock the first time. Yelled through the door no service until we check out please and put the do not disturb sign out. That did not stop 2 more return trips trying to get in and clean while we were still in the room well before check out time. Front desk lady not exactly cheery. That said, it is a clean enough, comfortable enough, utilitarian stop from Northern CA to SoCal or vice-versa with a huge amount of TV channels.

Check in experience was very nice. The gentleman at the front desk was very nice and helpful. He has a big lovely dog that just hang out on the property. Which would be lovely but it comes in contradiction with "No pets allowed" hotel policy. Just charge a little extra and allow the pets. Rooms need some cosmetic updates. Shower looked beat up and paint was chipping off the walls with signs of mold. It literally needs new fresh paint coat. Horrible shower curtains. It's time to switch to big shampoo and body wash bottles like every big chain did. It so much more eco friendly and I would imagine cheaper for the hotel itself.
