This was my second time at Maui Sunseeker, and I was as happy this time as I was on my first visit. The staff is friendly and helpful. The property is directly across the two lane road from a lovely little beach. The amenities are fine including a pool and hot tub. The location is convenient for almost all activities on the island of Maui. There was a fine library of guidebooks for the residents to use. All in all, a lovely property with great staff. Highly recommended for the LGBTQ community, but I would say it is equally fine for those who are not.
The place was perfect for a 3 day getaway. Not expensive near a lot of attractions. Only thing it lacked was a pool, but the ocean is literally 25 feet away. Italian restaurant and bar with in steps as well. Bed was a little hard for my liking but that's me nit- picking. All in all our stay was great. And let's face it I was only in the room to sleep.
Stayed in room 517, individually owned, with amenities to auffice a vacation on Maui. Beach towels, beach chairs, beach umbrella! Enjoyed the feeling of being "home" in paradise. The bed was cozy and hotel-like. The balcony doors opened completely creating an open lanai. The condo had upgraded bathroom and kitchen with the amenities to BBQ, cook, clean, etc. the pool is warm and the hot tub was relaxing. All the condos at Sugar Beach are BEACHFRONT! The concierge was friendly and rental equipment on site for a nice price! ie: snorkel gear, boogie boards. This is a budget-friendly resort, centrally located on Maui.
Just had a 3 night stay in Maui at the Maui Beach Vacation Club. Very comfortable, convenient to shops and restaurants, and the beach right across the street. Nice pool, complimentary breakfast on some mornings with orientation. 2 bedroom suite had everything - master bedroom with en suite bathroom, king bed and TV. Second bedroom with twin beds, and there is a second full bathroom, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, washer and dryer as well! We didn't want for anything.
My wife and I honeymooned here four and a half years ago, and we enjoyed it so much we knew we'd come back when we returned to Maui. This stay was quite enjoyable. Unfortunately, the pool near reception was under construction, but there was a second pool and hot tub, so it didn't really affect our stay. The personnel were very helpful, as before, and the quiet relaxing atmosphere just really made our weekend the restful vacation we needed. We plan on returning when we can.
Large, comfortable condo has well thought out floor plan with spacious patio/deck. Beautiful garden and view. Convenient office location and swimming pool. I have stayed at several places in Kihei. If you're not staying at the Grand Wailea, this place is the best affordable place in Kihei for families.
Kihei has many big-city amenities, including notable restaurants. Here, visitors can sample Hawaiian cuisine and learn about the state’s obsession with SPAM, the canned meat. Kihei’s beaches—Kamaole, Keawakapu, Kihei, and Mai Poina—are good for walking, swimming, and windsurfing. Makena Beach, south of Kihei, is aptly nicknamed the Big Beach. This beach is 100 yards wide and almost a mile long.
