This was my second time at Maui Sunseeker, and I was as happy this time as I was on my first visit. The staff is friendly and helpful. The property is directly across the two lane road from a lovely little beach. The amenities are fine including a pool and hot tub. The location is convenient for almost all activities on the island of Maui. There was a fine library of guidebooks for the residents to use. All in all, a lovely property with great staff. Highly recommended for the LGBTQ community, but I would say it is equally fine for those who are not.
We love this condo! It's so spacious and comfortable that we didn't want to leave! We stayed in unit 4 which is a 2bd, 2 ba, upstairs with a beautiful ocean view!!!
This is our 5th time staying at Maui Hill. We have stayed at two other condos on Maui in the past and once we found our "home" at Maui Hill we won't stay anywhere else!
Dennis Costa and his staff make all the difference. They make everyone's experience feel like they're part of the family.
We would recommend Maui Hill to anyone who wants a quiet, relaxing environment located in sunny Kihei on the outskirts of shops and beaches (within walking distance). Kihei borders the posh community of Wailea with it's grand resorts, great restaurants and shopping.
We prefer snorkeling to shopping, but there is something for everyone nearby.
We already miss our beautiful island home and family at Maui Hill. We can't wait for next year!
Just had a 3 night stay in Maui at the Maui Beach Vacation Club. Very comfortable, convenient to shops and restaurants, and the beach right across the street. Nice pool, complimentary breakfast on some mornings with orientation. 2 bedroom suite had everything - master bedroom with en suite bathroom, king bed and TV. Second bedroom with twin beds, and there is a second full bathroom, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, washer and dryer as well! We didn't want for anything.
We stayed here for a week in late June for our honeymoon in room 119. We loved the location situated just steps from the ocean but be aware the beach is rocky and not great for swimming. We were able to walk to stores and restaurants in Kihei which we really enjoyed. If you book here, just be aware that not all condos are the same; some are updated and some are not. We stayed in one that was not updated but was comfortable enough. We liked that everything we needed was provided in our unit, even beach mats, an umbrella, and cooler! The grounds are well kept and maintained daily but the unit did get warm, especially in the back where he bedroom is located (AC units are window units) as the temps were in the 90's during our stay. The pool was clean and wonderful to have on extra warm days!
Kihei has many big-city amenities, including notable restaurants. Here, visitors can sample Hawaiian cuisine and learn about the state’s obsession with SPAM, the canned meat. Kihei’s beaches—Kamaole, Keawakapu, Kihei, and Mai Poina—are good for walking, swimming, and windsurfing. Makena Beach, south of Kihei, is aptly nicknamed the Big Beach. This beach is 100 yards wide and almost a mile long.
