Unsafe Hotel
Please be careful booking this hotel as we had money stolen from our room . I don’t believe it’s a safe and secure hotel. Our sliding door to balcony was Tampered with , I have high suspicion and reasons to believe it was an internal break in to appear it was an outsider.Management would not accept responsibility . We asked for video footage from security cameras and of course nothing was done about it . Please think twice about staying at this hotel.

Beware of falling furniture
Nice hotel, but we had an incident that was not handled well by the staff. Around 10pm my wife was opening the drawer on the bedside table when the whole unit fell off the wall and landed on her foot. She was in quite a lot of pain so I called reception explained what had happened and asked for assistance. Within 10 minutes two maintenance men arrived to fix the unit, but no assistance for my wife. The 2 men got to work, making a terrible noise with drilling and banging. It was after 10pm, a lot of guests in nearby rooms were disturbed, one guest furiously barged into the room and started shouting at the maintenance men, complaining he couldn’t sleep. Other guest complained to reception & the night manager came to the room to find out what was happening, he was very concerned about the unit that had fallen off the wall, much less so about my wife’s injured food. He asked what she had been doing to cause the damage which was insulting under the circumstances. After an hour, the unit was fixed, we then had to wait another 30 mins for housekeeping to come and clean up the mess left by the work. Next day we spoke to guest relations, the lady was more sympathetic, but when we said we wanted to make an accident report, her attitude changed. She reluctantly took a few details and said it would be logged on their system, but later when I asked for a copy of the report, she said it was against company policy to give guest a copy of accident reports.

The resort was absolutely amazing. We had everything we wanted and didn’t have to leave the resort to find things to do if we didn’t want to. The meal options were outstanding

Beautiful resort. Very relaxing and great service. Beach, pools and restaurants are all very nice. We had a great stay and would stay at this property or Atlantica’s other properties again. Really impressive view and close to Chania but far enough away from the city to feel relaxed. Car rental on site was also super useful and convenient. Only 2 minor complains - first being that the air conditioning in the rooms is not strong enough. Very hot sleeping at night. And secondly too much DJ time at the pool and in the evenings. Banging club music is not really required considering the age of most of the guests.

Amazing hotel
Resort exceeded our expectations. Very friendly staff and impeccably clean. Booked in for the Wine Cellar fine dining restaurant aware it wasnt included in the all inclusive package. Although even at the time of booking had no opportunity to view a sample menu or price. Reservations contacted us as no vegetarian options available which was the first time we got to see a sample menu and price which was about €150pp. Apart from not being able to dine there (we were provided an alternative option which we declined) the rest of the food was still very delicious so we didn't feel like we had missed out greatly. Would happily stay again

Very nice property!! And great location with the amenities we had hoped for. Great service from the front of house staff - organizing transportation, extending our checkout, baggage, etc. The staff for bar needed a bit of training but overall great experience.

We had a very relax stay at the resort. The beach is beautiful and it was never too crowded. There were plenty of chairs and umbrellas and the restaurants and bars are near by.

Great stay in early June
Amazing stay here, really wonderful staff. Great facilities. Easy access to Chania and loads of excursions. Breakfast was incredible and lots of nice drinks in the bars. Perfect spot for couples.

Disappointed with our stay in this hotel. We felt it was a very expensive stay for what we get is not really a five star hotel service. The buffet food quality was poor, guest communication is poor, no hotel information service booklet provided inside the room. The hotel staff looks miserable. The room needs updating, plug socket is hanging loose in the wall and not working, bathroom looks tired, grouting of the bath is unsightly. Poor housekeeping service, not topping up the soap dispenser, floor is not clean properly. Overall this is not an upscale or five star hotel service.

Great hotel with great amenities! Location is awesome too, can easily walk to several restaurants and stores. One day we walked all the way to Cabana Mare Beach club and another day we walked all the way to Chania Old Town. The resort was fantastic, wonderful pools, good food, and beautiful beach. The staff was great too, especially Elina and Dennis from the pool bar :) Would definitely come back here again!

Lovely location on the beach and a lovely bay. Our lagoon swim out room was lovely however we didn’t get much sun on our deck, and in early October water was cold. Our bathroom was basic, shower over bath, was expecting walk-in shower. Room was nicely appointed, however lightning in room was poor in places, difficult for putting makeup on, and making a drink, so could do with some extra strip lights here and there. Food in resort was very good, all inclusive package was quite limited, could do with being reviewed. We aren’t the sort of people who go on holiday and drink all day, but we do like nice quality drinks.

Welcome Break at quality hotel
A truly five star hotel with excellent customer service. My wife and I had six nights at the hotel and couldn’t fault the service which is a rarity these days. The hotel is on the beach and has its own free loungers and waiters to provide you with drinks. If you prefer there is a beautiful pool. The breakfast provided was very good with a huge range of hot and cold food. We didn’t eat other meals in the hotel and found 3 or 4 very reasonable restaurants with a two or three minute walk.

They gave us the rooms late even though we arrived early!! We had to wait a couple of hours! But they practically kicked us out early on checkout day!! Parking is terrible!!! The personell at the restaurant was very rude! We even put a complaint on a waiter girl! But obviously they protect their people and disregarded the issue!! Would not come back!! And would not refer it!

The staff are absolutely fantastic. So friendly and personable. There is a fantastic culture which all staff members really buy into and are joy to be around. Maria, Dennis and Visikalli to name a few which really made our experience special. The breakfast is excellent and plenty of choice from crepes, hot meats, cold meats and continental. Three different pools offer good variety and places to explore with the swim up bar being a popular spot. We ate lunch twice at the greek restaurant which was by far our best meals of the trip along with the service from Maria. With an emphasis on sustainability small changes could be made such as removing the single serve condiments sachets and napkins at the greek restaurant. All in all a fantastic stay at a beautiful hotel with the most amazing staff.

The resort was located by the sea, the beach was wonderful. The hotel staff very helpful and knowledgeable, specially the front desk/reception manager. We came from Calgary Canada, it was first time in Crete and we are very impressed with hotel service. The food (breakfast buffet) was equivalent to 5 star hotel. We will go again next year. Thanks guys, we had amazing time
