1.CHEATED ABOUT THE MEALS HOURS SO I LOST MY BREAKFAST AND THE REMAINING FOOD THEY OFFERED ME WAS A THIRD CLASS HOTEL BREAKFAST .THEY APOLOGIZED BUT AN APOLOGY IS FOR FREE .....AND UNFORTUNATELY MY BOOK WAS NOT FREE 2.CHEATED ALSO WAS THE NAME OF THE HOTEL. I HAD A GREAT TIME AT SOLIMARE AQUAMARINE AT CHANIA TOO SO I EXPECTED SOMETHING LIKE THAT GREAT AND REAL TAXINOMY OF 5 STARS HOTEL .... MAKING A BOOK TO A SAME NAME HOTEL IS QUITE MISLEADED...AND I THINK YOU HAVE AS EXPEDIA TRAVEL SERVICES A GREAT PART OF RESPONSIBILITY TO THIS MISLEADED... 3.MY INVOICE AMOUNT WAS ABOUT 50 EUROS LOWER OF THE AMOUNT THAT EXPEDIA CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD ....I THOUGHT IT WAS THE PRICE TO AVOID CONDITIONS LIKE THESE I REFERED ....SO I AM CURIOUS TO INFORM ME ABOUT THE WAY YOU ARE GOING TO REFUND ME FOR THE SERVICES YOU DIDNT OFFER ME AS I AM GOING TO INFORM A LARGE NUMBER OF FRIENDS OF MINE USING YOUR SERVICES IN USA AUSTRALIA AND GREECE

Amazing staff/Super clean/Great location!!
The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful from the second I got there. I was traveling alone and so their friendliness made my trip so much better me. I felt like I was among family! The place was the cleanest - there was never a speck of dirt or sand anywhere.....ever. Also, the pizza was pretty darn good!!

Great hotel for families
Great place to stay in Chania. It is nice and close to beaches but also has a great pool on site. There is a games room with lots of fun activities. We appreciated the apartment room so we had our own separate bedroom.

Friendly, hotel close to beach & great restaurants
Our family of 4 enjoyed a 4 night stay at this hotel and were impressed by the friendly family who ran the hotel. They ensured your stay was enjoyable and answered several questions when required. I liked the fact their mattresses were comfortable and the rooms were clean and bright. The hotel is very central and close to the beach and lots of fantastic restaurants. Although the hotel was full it never seemed too busy.

Friendly, clean and great location!
Very friendly and helpful staff. Very nice pool area. Rooms are basic but clean. Beds were a bit hard but still OK. Its only 2 minutes walk to the beautiful beach in Agia Marina. Plenty of restaurants and small supermarkets in the area. Across the road from the hotel, at Mitsos taverna, we had the best of times during our holiday. Family run restaurant with very tasty food and a warm welcome. Its located almost on the beach. Buses to Chania at least once an hour. Busstop outside hotel and it only cost a couple of euros and took about 25 min. Walking distance to Platania. If we go back to Crete we would def. stay at Canea Mare again. Great value for money!

great staff, friendly and helpful, allowed us to move to an apartment room at no extra cost which had a great view from the patio- the only thing that counts against the hotel is the beds they are quite hard and not that comfortable, would be great if they upgraded them! don't miss Elafonissi island we hired a car to drive out there for the day for a small cost and it was magical! hotel is in a great location right next to the beach and good restaurants all around, our favourite was Tabepna restaurant (Pallirria) on the beach which has great food, good service and always something thrown in for free every time we ate there!

Good value for the money.
Just got back from Crete two days ago. Stayed at Canea Mare Hotel and Apartments. Good value for the money. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Not a huge resort hotel with entertainment every night, but that we already knew that we booked. Hotel was kept very clean and the rooms basic, as to be expected. But who spends a lot of time in the room anyway. We travelled with two children, so my husband and I had a separate bedroom and we therefor had two balconies. It wasn´t noisy at night. Our room was only two doors from the exit to the pool area. I found the bed slightly hard, but my husband thought it was perfect. Canea Mare was much closer to the Agia Marina beach than what I had thought. From the hotel you just crossed the Agias Marinas street, walked 5-10 meters( or yards), between small hotels, and there was the beach! Plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. Can recommend Mtsos Restaurant, also right across the Agia Marinas Street. Great food, family owned, teriffic service and lovely surroundings right by the beach. We had dinner there, four nights out of seven. And they didn´t have a pushy person by the entrance, trying to convince you to try their food. They didn´t have to. People kept coming back anyway. We rented a car for the week and the hotel has a parkingarea for six cars, on the side of the building. So that worked out well. They have computer in the gameroom, that you can use. You had to pay 1 Euro per 20 minutes, I think. I hope somebody finds this review helpful.

Mio marito ed io abbiamo prenotato le 2 settimane centrali di Agosto in questa struttura all inclusive. La vacanza non era partita al meglio perché appena arrivati ci è stato detto che purtroppo la nostra stanza presentava problemi di tubature e ci è stato proposto di alloggiare per 3 notti (il tempo per risolvere il guasto) presso un'altra struttura, il Solimar Acquamarine Resort, distante circa 5km dal Solimar Torquise e di categoria superiore, sempre all inclusive. Per farsi perdonare ci hanno riservato la suite con piscina privata e all'arrivo ci hanno fatto trovare in stanza un vassoio di dolcetti e vino. Trascorsi i 3 giorni siamo tornati al Solimar Torquise e per errore ci è stata data una camera standard mentre noi avevamo prenotato una junior suite. Appena abbiamo fatto notare l'errore allo staff, si sono subito prodigati per rimediare ed alla fine ci hanno fatto alloggiare in una delle suite fronte mare che era stupenda (scendendo le scale si era subito in spiaggia con ombrelloni e lettini che ci hanno anche offerto gratis). Abbiamo apprezzato molto la sollecitudine e gentilezza dello staff nell'intervenire prontamente per rendere perfetta la nostra vacanza. Per questo ringraziamo di cuore e salutiamo con affetto Anna ed Anastasia che hanno reso possibile tutto questo. Portiamo nel cuore questa vacanza e speriamo di tornare presto! Raccomandiamo a tutti il Solimar Torquise in quanto è una bella struttura, si mangia bene ed è situata fronte mare e con movida serale!

Allt var suveränt, maten underbar och varierande på hotellet. Enda nackdelen var de "öppna" badrummen på rummen. Passar kanske par?, men inte när man åker ett gäng väninnor:-). Dock var det inte långt till pooltoaletten :-)

Great hotel. Super friendly and helpful staff that made sure our stay there was going well. Room was clean and air conditioning was working well in the room. All inclusive was perfect, plenty of different local foods and drinks were included to the package. Pool area was clean and not too full at the time we were staying there. Location was great too!

Zunächst wurden wir bei Ankunft, angeblich aufgrund von Problemen mit der Elektrizität, in ein anderes Hotel umgebucht - vom Adults Only Hotel zum Familienparadies, nicht gerade das, was wir ursprünglich gebucht hatten. Unser Zimmer war alt und abgewohnt, das Bad uralt und dreckig, die Putzfrau hat den Dreck von Links nach Rechts gewischt, die ältere Frühstücksdame war jeden Tag schlecht gelaunt, die Rezeptionsdame (mit dunklen Haaren) war unverschämt und hat lieber private Telefonate geführt. Einzig und allein der Mitarbeiter an der Poolbar und im Á-la-carte-Restaurant waren freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir hatten all-inclusive gebucht und bekamen aufgrund der Umbuchung all-inclusiv-“plus”. Das Essen war, egal zu welcher Tageszeit, unterirdisch! Alle Speisen kalt, keine Abwechslung, keine lokalen Speisen, die Rohkost hat nach Spritzmittel und der Feta nach 3 Tagen sauer geschmeckt. Vom Kaffee will ich gar nicht reden, den konnten wir uns beim Frühstück sparen und ab 10.30 Uhr lieber den echten Kaffee von der Poolbar holen. Die Snacks am Pool waren alle einzeln in Plastik verpackt, die Getränke an den Bars wurden mallorca-like in Plastikbechern serviert, es wurde aber mit Umweltbewusstsein im Hotel geworben... Ja die Getränke... Meine Lieblingsgetränke nach 9 Tagen Aufenthalt waren Eistee, Baileys und heiße Schokolade - alle anderen Getränke im all-inclusive-“plus” waren miserabel. Der Strandzugang war gut zu erreichen, aber ungepflegt und mit altem Mobiliar ausgestattet.

Komprimerat turiststråk med hotel/restauranger/barer/affärer på ena sidan genomfartsväg och likadant på motsatta norra sidan med en långsträckt strand med massa med solstolar och uthyrning för vattenlek. Helt OK med tonårsbarn några dar. Mycket hjälpsam och trevlig personal som är vår genomgående känsla av alla greker på Kreta som bor och jobbar här.

Siisti hotelli lähellä rantaa. Allasalue pieni mutta oli meille riittävä. Hyviä ruokapaikkoja kävelymatkan päässä mm.Mithos -suosittelen! Henkilökunta erittäin ystävällistä,siivous päivittäin. Hotellihuoneen sisustus vanhahkoa, suihku oli rikki mutta sen kanssa pärjäsi. Itse pitää tyhjentää parvekkeelta vedet jotka ilmastointi tiputtaa. Sijainti hyvä.

Canea Mare ett mareritt, ikke book, du vil angre.
Helt grusomt, to døgn i hell, ingen aircon som virket, bodde på to forskjellige rom, en hyggelig resepsjonist, men en grinete manager, som nektet å refundere noe av det vi hadde betalt, ettersom vi hadde betalt gjennom hotels.com. Vi flyttet til Thalassa Beach resort, kostet selvfølgelig litt ekstra, men reddet ferien til kona mi og meg selv

Hyggeligt hotel med gode restauranter på samme vej
Godt familiedrevet hotel ejet af 3 brødre. Hoppeborg til børnene, samt børnevenlig pool. God pool bar med fin betjening. Længere oppe af vejen ligger to gode restauranter Nymfies og Nostos - begge et besøg værd. Alt i alt et godt hotel til rimelige penge.

Meget behageligt hotel
Værelserne er dejlige, der er to aircons, hotellet ligger tæt på strand og poolen er ikke fyldt med klor. Personalet i baren og til morgenmadsbuffettet er uvenligt, men det kan man jo undlade at benytte.

Super beliggenhed, skøn personale, god poolområde.
Vi har haft nogle dejlig dage på hotellet, persoanlet gør alt for, at gæsterne skal føle sig tilpas.Det eneste vi kunne ønske os, der var bedre, er sengene på værelserne. Madrasserne var for hårde til os, men det gjorde vi hotellet opmærksom på ved afrejse, og får vi lyst til, at rejse derned igen, vil de skaffe topmadrasser til sengene, så hotellet gør alt for, at imødekomme gæsternes ønsker.

Vi fikk veldig god service av de ansatte, både i resepsjon og bar. I baren har de en kjapp, blid bartender (Loui) som alltid har ett godord/en vits på lur :) servitøren (Maria) hadde alltid full kontroll på hvem som skulle ha hva og alltid ett godt smil når hun kom med det :) Vi ble godt kjent og vil holde kontakten med Maria og Loui :) Har lyst å dra tilbake :)

Flott personale men grusomme senger !
Vi hadde et flott opphold på hotellet, takket være flott personale, god service og perfekt beliggenhet. Men madrassene i sengene tar tok nesten livet av oss!! Gjør noe med madrassene, så kommer vi mer enn gjerne tilbake.

Ut fra pris et bra hotell. God service i resepsjonen. Greie rom. Sengene var super harde og veldig vonde. Fikk overmadrass etter 4netter -det var som å komme til himmelen. Rundt bassenget var det dårlig service og dårlig mat. Ut fra pris godt fornøyd spesielt ut fra at resepsjonen var særdeles imøtekommende ( fikk bytte rom pga bråk og "mye sol", samt fikk overmadrass etter å ha tatt opp "harde senger" med de.'

Dejligt hotel med alt hvad en børnefamilie har brug for. God service og god beliggenhed. Hvis man er en familie med behov for ro skal man ikke vælge dette hotel da der er lidt uro fra gaden. Dejlig strand og gode shoppemuligheder.

Alt var i grunn bra unntatt sengene. Var senger stive som gulv. Virket som overmadrassen var tatt vekk. Har du litt trøblete rygg anbefales ikke dette hotellet. Jeg vil ikke bo her igjen grunnet sengene. Ellers var alt helt greit.

Hyggelig betjening, rent, fin romløsning og str. på rommene og sentral beliggenhet, men sovekomforten var ikke så bra. Mye trafikk utenfor og støy fra veien om nettene. Bilene kjørte fort og det var komlokk i veien som laget ekstra lyd. Aircondition var vanskelig å stille inn til passe temperatur og man måtte tømme en beholder tidlig på morgenen for at det ikke skulle dryppe vann inn. Frokosten var dyr og dårlig, men ellers var det bra. Barna hadde det fint.

Savoir ce que l'on met dans la balance....
L’accueil est impeccable (et on vous parle aussi bien en français, anglais ou autre) et on vous explique en quelques mots comment s'organise la vie dans l'hôtel... Cependant la salle de bain est de loin la moins plaisante... Un WC qui se dandine lorsqu'on s'y assied, un rideau de douche "aile de chauve souris" qui vous embrasse et n'empêche pas l'eau de s'écouler partout dans la pièce sans être pour le moins évacuée et cela à cause d'un "léger problème" de dénivelé vers l'évacuation (agréable lorsqu'on y revient plus tard et que nos pieds baignent dans une eau tiède...). A nuancer en fonction de la chambre réservée et de l'horaire de nettoyage (parfois un peu gênant) ainsi que de l’équipement (sommaire) de la partie cuisine (si vous optez pour le choix de l'appartement). Vous avez une terrasse ou un balcon pour vous et un grand choix de boissons (le petit-déjeuner est à éviter car assez cher par rapport au "buffet" proposé). De quoi distraire les plus jeunes à un prix tout à fait abordable.
