“Our Favorite Hotel in Ireland”
My wife and I took a seven day self-guided tour of Ireland. The Killarney Royal hotel was the forth hotel of the five we stayed at during our trip and by far our most favorite. It reminded me a lot of the bed and breakfast type of hotels in Cape May, NJ here in the US, except much cleaner and well kept. The rooms are well decorated, the staff is very friendly and helpful, and the walls are virtually sound proof. The walls being virtually sound proof was by far the biggest complaint of the other four star hotels I stayed at in Ireland. I swear Ireland must use paper thin walls in all of their hotels. We stayed elsewhere and could hear the person in the next room snoring. Anyway, there is an excellent restaraunt/bar downstars that has great food. The parking is very convienent and easy to use (it is public parking, but it is very affordable and easy to park for the day with plenty of spaces). A tip though... save your money and eat elsewhere for breakfast. There is a nice cafe around the corner. Also... nothing seems to open in Killarney until 9:30AM. McDonalds doesn't even open until 9:30AM in Killarney. So enjoy your vacation and sleep in!
“Great Hotel - Great Location”
The location of the hotel is great and the staff are very friendly and accomodating. Food at the on site restaraunt was very good as well. We would definitely stay at this hotel if we go back to the Killarny area.
“Charming boutique hotel”
This charming hotel is located in the centre of Killsrney. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel doesn't have parking but I was directed to a nearby lot. The room was large, comfortable and well-appointed - it even came with a golf putting set. The bathroom was big and included nice touches like twin robes. The wifi worked and the bed was comfortable.
