"Great location."
Loved just walking across the street at night to get back to the hotel. It was also nice to be able to open the windows for fresh air.

"Short break to London"
Visit with two 9 year old nieces. Hotel was located in a quiet cul de sac just a short walk from High St Kensington tube. Rooms were comfortable - giant beds! Very clean rooms. Reception area was lovely and smelled fresh and clean. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. My nieces were very impressed - we were on the 9th floor. They really enjoyed their time in London and it was great to have a comfy room to come back to after very busy days and not too far to walk to and from tube. Would stay here again.

"Great, well-priced London hotel in Sth. Kensington"
The Regency Hotel in South Kensington is a recently renovated hotel in clearly one of the more fabulous parts of London. Very close to the Underground (Tube) and buses. The immediate area has an abundance of bars and restaurants, is close to the V&A and Natural History Museums and a short walk to Kings Road, Chelsea.

"Peace in London"
The location is perfect. Easy access to Heathrow, just a tube ride away. Near tube, quiet, safe street. Walking distance to great neighborhoods. The only drawback was a nonfunctioning elevator which I'm sure will be fixed by the next time I stay there, which I plan to do someday.

"a great hotel in central London"
This is a great hotel in central London, the rooms are larger than normal for Europe, very short walk to the Gloucester Tube station. My only negative, is that the breakfast is very expensive, otherwise, I can't say enough about the staff and the hotel. I had a problem (not the hotels fault on my departure date, the car service I had arranged, managed to mess up my pick up time, and the concierge was great in helping to resolve the issue. I have stayed here several times over the years and that is why I keep coming back, the quality the staff & the service is outstanding.

"An unexpected gem"
We booked our trip to London with much less notice than usual, especially since we have never vacationed in Europe before. Booked the trip only about 1 month in advance, for our daughter's Sweet 16. It was our first vacation not staying at a "name" hotel or resort chain, and we had the vacation of our lives. The Collingham is in the most gorgeous neighborhood; as New Yorkers we can only compare it to renting an apartment on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. We stayed in a two bedroom flat, and were upgraded to a wonderful unit with TWO baths and a beautiful outside terrace. Unit was comfortable enough for a family of five, with amenities such as flat screen TV, coffee & tea pots, full kitchen, WiFi available for 35 pounds for the week. Good advice from staff on restaurants and tours, cleaning service did great job each day. Staff answered questions by Email promptly before our stay. Close to both Earls Court and Gloucester Road tube stops, and two supermarkets to stock the kitchen. Our days were hectic with sightseeing, plays and shopping, and it was a pleasure to come back to the Collingham each evening. London is truly a once in a lifetime experience, although we plan to go back!

"Good Hotel for Visit to The Royal Albert Hall"
Found all the staff very obliging, cheerful and friendly. Refurbishment being carried out at present so restaurant is upstairs in the Bar. This is OK but not for a special night out! Convenient for a walk in Kensington Gardens and through to The Serpentine. Plenty of shopping and small restaurants in Kensington.
