“Not impressed”

Even though the staff was very friendly, I was disappointed in the continental breakfast. Not healthy food for a diabetic. Should have fresh fruit, whole grain choices and sugar free hot chocolate. The room was comfortable and clean with a lumpy comforter. For a non smoking hotel, the halls wreaked of the smell of smoke. They need to clean and update the lobby and clean the carpet in the halls.

“Meh.”

The staff were very helpful and friendly. However, the restaurant is undergoing construction, and there was a lot of shuffling of people for breakfast. The staff did the best they could under the circumstances. I requested a room with no stairs, because one of our party has a great deal of difficulty walking, and we were given rooms on the second floor - because there was an elevator. They met the letter of the request, but not the intent. Our party member had to walk (painfully) quite a way to the room from the elevator, through a set of doors.

“Not many options”

If you go to this area you will not have many options, that is why I see this hotel as an option. However, there the staff is not that friendly and the hotel even though it was renovated still feels like its old.

“Unlikely to return”

We had several issues with this hotel. First, our hotel room door was left ajar after housekeeping had cleaned our room. Second, the temperature control for the heat was not working properly. It was either "on" or "off". Lastly, our sleep was disrupted by a noisy dog in a room nearby (and this was supposed to be a "NO PETS" hotel.

“Stay Away”

Hotel is in a state of disrepair. Toilet ran every time it was flushed until I lifted the back and jiggled the chain. Stair railings were broken. The room was about 40 degrees when I checked in; the heat had been off for days. I went out for dinner and it was almost comfortable when I returned. I didn't feel like packing back up and moving to another room. The so-called "hot breakfast" was disgusting.

“Don't Stay Here!”

I had stayed at this hotel before and had a great experience. This time the room had cobwebs in the corners and hanging on the curtains. The bathroom was moldy and just generally grungy - I refused to allow my 3 year-old to take a bath in the tub because it was gray and looked as though it had not been cleaned or disinfected in a quite some time. I contacted their main office and was told that I would be contacted by someone at the hotel to correct the problem but no one ever called. Overall, I was quite disappointed and would NEVER stay at this hotel again. In fact, it has colored my opinion of the chain and now I won't be staying with that chain again.
