“Great condo, tough check-in”

Our unit was great! Clean, roomy, well equipped. The pool is small but very adequate. The only problem we had was finding the office to check-in. Imagine rolling in at 11pm Hawaii time 2AM west coast time and not finding an office on site. The address from expedia is where the unit is but not the Office.

“Nice Condo timeshares on North Shore Kauai”

Very nice and nicely maintained condos in Princeville on the North Shore of Kauai that are a good base for trips on the north half of the island. Don't expect a view of either the ocean or the mountains (although a few might have mountain views) because these are surrounded by other developments. There are two pools and one tennis court for the complex. The accommodation we had was impeccably clean and well laid out and organized. Most things provided for you including beach towels; even a pizza cutter. Only three minor caveats: 1.) the sound proofing between units and upstairs/downstairs is lacking and 2.) Signage in all of Princeville and especially these properties is unreadable at night. Therefore it is nearly impossible to find your way to the right place the first time if coming in at night. 3.) Expect to be pressured to attend a hard sell timeshare buying presentation. Note that there are lots of these units on the secondary/resale market.

“Pleasant Kauai condos”

Exceptionally well-maintained grounds, and a spacious and comfortable two-bedroom time-share condo, with well-equipped kitchen and grocery store nearby in Princeville Center. A family of 6 (incl three little ones) was quite comfortable. Pools are small, and there is no housekeeping service (since these are condos), but washer-dryer and vacuum is in the unit. You will be asked to go to a time-share presentation, but that's not mandatory. If you do agree to attend that, you can get discounts on activities (kayaking, luau, etc). Would certainly return. We were impressed with how quiet the north shore was even at Christmas.

“Great Princeville value resort”

Would return again. Great resort. Rooms have a nice layout with open kitchen and living room. Minor maintenance issues, only 1 burner worked on the stove and CD player needs to be replaced. Overall a beautiful resort with new pool. Very comfortable place to be for those days when it rained.

“Great hotel but difficulty finding check-in”

Great place to stay. Glad we stayed in the new area since there seemed to be construction/renovations going on throughout the property. Only complaint was that it was very difficult to locate the check-in office. There are no signs directing you. After 20 minutes we found a maintenance person and asked him where it was.

“Not so good!”

I am an RCI member and just a heads up, but we get the oldest units in the place. The waterflow in the bathroom was awful and every morning we woke to tiny ants in the coffee pot and on the kitchen counter. The rooms are very outdated and there is no AC. This was not a factor for us on our trip because the temp were OK at night, but I could see how it could get hot in the room. The pool areas are good, but no bars on the property nor is there anywhere to eat on the property so keep that in mind. I would not stay at this property again mainly for the outdated room, but also because Princeville is so far away from everything.

“This is not a hotel”

This is not a hotel,no housekeeping. They don't clean rooms. View is so so. Pool is small. The other one is small and crowded. The first two bedroom had two beds instead of four we ordered and was smelling urine so bad that even kids noticed. They moved us in the other unit upon request.
