“Great Family Resort”

The Point was a great place for our family vacation. The kids(5 and 8)loved the beach-style pool and spa, "the poolside grill" with kid-friendly shakes, smoothies and food, the "dive-in" movie, the breakfast buffet, short walking distance to Poipu Beach Park...Mom, Dad Grammy and Auntie loved the gym, the expansive grounds, the walk paths connecting several resorts, the adults-only spa, great service and ultra comfortable rooms. The only drawback? The hard-sell on the time share for the property. We acted very disinterested the first day and weren't really bugged much after that! Fun, fun, fun!

“We loved the Point at Poipu”

My wife and I, along with our daughter, son-in-law and their children (3 and a half and 9 months) spent a marvelous two weeks at the Point at Point. The staff and amenities are perfect for a family with small children. Despite the up and down weather (it wasn't as bad as the media reported) my grandson and I were in the pool and hot tub every day. His routine also included feeding the koi every morning after breakfast. The activities were simply excellent thanks to the two wonderful ladies (Pua and Marah) that organized and coordinated the variety of daily activities (face painting, photo frame making, talapia fishing, etc.) Our first week was in 8-306 overlooking the pool. Perfect even though it is "Garden View". Week two was in 1-203 a "Partial Ocean View" with a great wrap-around deck. Excellent, but maybe not worth the extra $$? We are NOT Diamond owners but did attend the presentation. We chose NOT to purchase so our review has no bias in favour or opposed to the Diamond Hotel chain.

“Whales and Coffee”

This was the perfect hotel for a family vacation. My kids loved the pool and suite. The front desk gave them food to feed the koi everyday. The children were so sad to leave. My husband and I watched the sunrise from the cliffs along the ocean every morning. We saw humpback whales while drinking coffee. It is an easy walk to Poipu Beach and Shipwreck Beach. The campus was a perfect match for our family. The grounds and room were beautiful, but it felt relaxed and natural.

“wonderful”

Wonderful stay. Staff is professional and friendly. Grounds are well kept. Full kitchen with oven, (should have bought that take and bake pizza at Costco), and well stocked with tools. Made full use of the storage containers in the kitchen after going to the some of the many local farmers' markets. Also made use of the BBQ grills on site, which were very clean and well maintained.

“Awesome!!”

Our stay was amazing! They upgraded us to a two bedroom complimentary. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything that you would need to use to cook with. The two bathrooms made our stay twice as enjoyable and the cleaning staff came everyday. Overall they get five stars and it is well deserved!

“Great!”

The hotel was excellent although a bit on the expensive side. The facilities were great. The two bedroom condo was awesome. We had a nice view of the ocean from our porch even though we only had a garden view room. They try to sell you some timeshare options in return for discounts. The free internet is only available in the lobby. If you want internet in your room then you need to pay $10/ night.
