    “Would go back !!”

    My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Outrigger ! We had a partial ocean view. H 405. We traveled the end of March, so it was difficult to find a beach where we felt safe getting in the ocean. North is rainier, but good swimming beaches. We would definitely stay here again ! Very nice !! Enjoyed the adventurous tours. Beautiful island !!

    “Loves Kauai 87120”

    From the moment we checked in, which could not have been easier, to the time we had to leave (sad) we had a great time. The hotel complex was absolutley beautiful, looks just like the brochure, daily maid service was great, having a washer/dryer was wonderful. Location rocked (I have been to Kauai 3 times previously and knew what the general area was like. It was easy to get in/ out of hotel because of a light (although the light was a long wait some times). The pool was wonderful. There are beach/pool towels for checkout. Watch channel 3 for Kauai info on TV. Our room had baby sand toys, inner tubes and beach chairs for us to use. The chairs were great to bring to the North shore beaches. We did not eat at the hotel restaurant. At checkout there were NO additional hidden charges. Asked and they held our luggage on last day. There is an office area with computer use for checking e-mail and to do return ticket stuff free of charge. There are stores right across the street, sign up for their "saver" card. Costco, Kmart, Walmart have anything you need at good prices. Hotel leaves dish soap, scunge thing, dishwasher soap for you to use in kitchen and papertowels. Need to bring baggies, spices, laundry soap. New law in Hawaii is that they don't provide plastic shopping "bags" when you purchase things so plan on buying some or bring some reusable bags from home. Some places have paper bags but many places reguire you to bring/buy your own. WONDERFUL HOTEL!!!

    “Kapaa's Best Kept Secret”

    The Outrigger Waipouli Beach Resort was a great place to stay. The bedrooms were some of the best we have ever stayed in. The kitchen was top of the line. Everything that was needed to prepare a meal was provided. Restaurants on Kauai can be expensive so we used the kitchen at least once a day. Shopping center across the street with a Safeway and fast food options. Wednesdays from 4 to 6 pm at the Oasis Restaurant at the Waipouli is happy hour. $6 Mai Tai's, they were Great, half off a limited pupu menu that will be enough for dinner. Right on the beach. Overall we had a wonderful week.

    “really nice place to stay”

    We really enjoyed our time here. The condo type units are impeccably furnished and outfitted with top of the line kitchens including sub zero and wolfe appliances. With a grocery store right across the street, we were able to save a bundle out of our food budget. I'd love to go back

    “I love this hotel..”

    everything i wished for and more!! It is very beautiful !You dont have to go anywhere to find something to do.. everything is here, and the pool is just breathtaking. The beach is few walks away and the bar is just off the corner. love love love it!

    “Great balance between condo and resort”

    We usually stay at resorts, but with a toddler in tow, we opted to try a condo. The unit was very nice, with large bedrooms and bathrooms. Having a kitchen and washer/dryer were great. The grounds were nice enough, and the pool was awesome (though a few degrees cooler than we'd like). The beach is pretty, but not very swimmable. The bar serves a good happy hour, with strong and tasty mai tais. Quite convenient to have Safeway and Foodland across the street.

    “Beautiful resort!!”

    The hotel exceeded our expectations. We had three kids ages 14 to 2 years old and they all loved the place! They especially enjoyed the pool with the water slides and the beach that was a few steps away from the hotel. The condition of the hotel wad clean and nicely furnished. We were on the third level, however, our room was very quiet and comfortable. The hotel was in walking distance to Safeway, Longs, McDonalds and other restuarants. It was also in close proximity to the little shopping strip, the Coconut Market. The only concern that we had was that there was no nite life in Kapaa. It's a very quaint, small town. It was our first time in Kauai and frankly, I prefer a some activities in the evening. But you prefer some peace and quiet on your vacation then Kapaa is your town. Would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone. Best hotel we have ever stayed at thus far!

    “Very nice place to stay in paradise”

    Awesome living quarters.....well appointed. One of the best hotel/condos I've ever stayed in. Stingy with towels though. Also, they only supply coffee for he first day. Great to have a full size washer/dryer but you have to buy your own HE detergent. Those are small things, but it would have made the stay perfect had they been included. We spent most of our time at beaches, hiking, snorkeling, but the pool area and on premise beach were nice. It's not the Grand Hyatt for resort type atmosphere but the accomodations blow away the Hyatt. We're not the kind of family that goes to a resort hotel and stays their the whole time. With 2 full size bedrooms and 3 full baths (which were huge and nicely finished out), a full size kitchen with Sub Zero fridge, flat panel TVs in every room, iHome clocks and balconies off of every room, what's not to like. This would definitely be a do over.

    “Kauai winter get away”

    Was nice to get away from the cold winter in Iowa and spend two nice weeks in sunny Kauai in a great hotel that felt like home away from home. Only complaint is the wi fi , did not work while in room had to go to pool area or lobby to get connected.
