Loved it right off the bat the airport was not a issue as far as noise and it backed right up to the ocean. I liked that it was on the east side and it was no more than a hr north or south to partake in any of the activities the island has to offer. Great kid friendly swimming area and a adult beverage dispensery near the pool had a blast would def go back.

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay here! Our room, the view, the staff, the food and drink were absolutely amazing! We will definitely be coming back to this resort! This.location is literally a piece of paradise on earth!

The pool area was very nice but they only kept the waterslide open for limited times during the day which was a disappointment. The hotel was nice but the rooms are super small and a bit outdated.

We first went to Kauai Beach resort in 2019 and it was amazing! This was our second visit to the resort and the first time since it was rebranded as Outrigger. Things have changed and not for the better. 1) The property has not been well kept in the last 4 years - I am not sure if this had to do with Covid or Outrigger taking ownership - it could be both playing a factor. 2) We received an email prior to our arrival offering a room upgrade which we paid for. Once we got to the resort, the upgrade was not honored. 3) Our room was dirty - there was visible mold on the picture frames in the bathroom. 4) The breakfast buffet was one of the highlights of our first stay. That buffet has gone downhill considerably and the price per person is astronomical. 5) I made an inquiry at the front desk and the woman was very rude. 6) I inquired with Concierge Services about food trucks in the area - she was of no help whatsoever and could not even tell me where one was located. 7) On the third morning the fire alarm went off in our wing of the hotel at 5:30AM!!!! Everyone was awake and not one person from the hotel recognized or apologized for the inconvenience. 8) Since Outrigger took ownership, there is no longer a valet and not one single person offered to help us with our bags (and we were struggling with a 4 year old in tow). 9) The bartender at the poolside cafe was so rude, I walked away mid order. Sadly I do not think we will return again.

Property is under construction and renovation. Despite requesting an upgrade to an ocean front room, the king bed was lumpy and uncomfortable, the wall paint was peeling, the porch screen door fell off the tracks often, and the furniture looked very worn. On the flip side, the breakfast buffet was wonderful and fresh fish dinner was most excellent.

I will say he exterior property is pretty awesome, four pools two Jacuzzis much a little waterfalls good access to the beach friendly staff, now with that said the beach right in front of the resort is disgusting, garbage floating up from who knows where and the oil cans milk crate cartons etc etc if you walk down about 200 yards the beach is awesome, now the rooms very outdated the water pressure in the bathrooms next to none and I think every room should have a microwave in it not sure why they don't probably need more trash cans in the buildings maybe a few more ice machines and water machines definitely overpaid probably won't come back to this resort but overall I enjoyed myself.

Be aware that there are extra parking costs if a person rents a car while on Kauai.There is also a fee expense that was added in, but I knew about that once I made reservations. Overnight parking was something like $ 29 per night which I thought was a little high, staying at The Outrigger.

The hotel was nice on the outside, very nice pool. However, our room was old, the toilet and showered had leaks. the resort fees were insane. $30 for parking is insane. Over all the fees were above $500! And lastly, it was so hard to connect to the WiFi!

It was a beautiful facility, they had great entertainment and a nice vibe. However, the pools were ridiculously freezing and the food was outrageously priced. Our room was much smaller and not nearly as nice as I was expecting. So that was disappointing. I would probably try another resort next time.

On arrival they gave us a dirty room without an ocean view (we paid for an ocean view). Gave us a new room after about an hour; staff was rude about it, got to new room and the power was out of the whole building. Room quality is about a 2 star. Sheets had someone's blood on them. Charged $70 per day for parking that we were not expecting. Waves around ocean are deadly espcecially for children. Do not stay here!!!

This property is wonderful! It’s clean, quiet and gorgeous! The pools and hot tub are perfect. The bar and restaurants were very good. The front desk was friendly and responsive. Our room was clean and the view was amazing! The only thing I could suggest to improve is the beach towels…they could be bigger and more absorbent. Otherwise, this is a 10 out of 10!

Convenient location for trave!ing around the Island. The grounds are beautiful and the sound of the waves and view of the ocean were awesome. Loved the beds and pillows and our Housekeeper Lerma kept our room very clean and stocked while we were there. I wish the pools were heated, made it hard to swim. Overall recommend and hope to be back someday!

This was a good location that was right on the beach. There was nothing extravagant about this hotel, although the pool area was quite nice. I was hoping for more dining options but there was only one restaurant on site which was far to expensive for the options being served. This was unfortunate as I then had to go out for every single meal. I was also hoping to get a massage on site again the prices were just insane. This hotel works as a great location near the airport, Costco and other fun activities on the island.

We had a great time! Our TV didn’t work properly and couldn’t be fixed, but maintenance was speedy and tried. Not a big deal! Beautiful property. Beautiful view! We would definitely stay again!
