Set on 25 tropical acres adjacent to a three-mile beach, Kauai Beach Resort- an Aqua Boutique is three miles from Lihue Airport and a 10-minute drive from Lihue Town. Also conveniently located near medical center should guests require any medical assistance.
In addition to a large pool complex with waterslide and spa tubs, the resort offers a freshwater lagoon pool with an adjacent bar and grill. Other dining options include an open-air steakhouse with weekend buffets, a casual lounge with live evening entertainment, and a café featuring freshly roasted coffee.
The resort provides complimentary shuttle service to and from Lihue Airport and several area golf courses upon request.

Shutters Lounge - Casual bar with plush seats and ceiling fans. Light fare, appetizers, and tropical drinks. Open from early evening to late evening.
Driftwood Sandbar and Grille - Adjacent to the sand-bottom pool. Lunch, snacks, and beverages served. Open from late morning to early evening.
Island Marketplace & Gifts - Freshly roasted coffee, deli sandwiches, and specialty ice cream. Open from early morning to early evening.
Recreation
The Kauai Beach Resort- an Aqua Boutique is set on an isolated stretch of beach with an adjacent sunning lawn. Due to strong undertows, ocean swimming is not recommended. The resort's pool complex includes a sandy-beach lagoon pool, three freeform pools, a waterslide, and two large spa tubs in a secluded grotto. A fitness center provides free weights, cardio machines, and a sauna. A volleyball court is also on site.
Wailua Golf Course is a five-minute drive north. The Wailua River, about two miles north, is the longest navigable river in Hawaii and is popular for boating and kayaking trips.

“Friendly and Helpful”
Upon arrival everyone was helpful and friendly. We checked out snorkel gear and the young lady gave us some very good advice about the beach we were going to. One selling point for us is that the hotel was quiet and relaxing. We would recommend this hotel to familty and friends and would come back again,

“Great family vacation at the Kauai Beach Resort”
We had an amazing vacation at the KBR. The breakfast buffet was very good,the four pools were so much fun for our kids to swim in, and the hotel grounds were beautiful and well kept. Then entire hotel was very clean and nice, and the staff was very helpful. The beaches were very pretty, however the water was too rough for my little kids to swim in. The 3 pools, sand pool and water slide seemed to make up for that! There was a reef protected area where the kids could get in to can catch small fish. Between the gym, hot tubs, gift shop, restaurants, bar and concierge, the resort seemed to offer everything we could possibly want or need. I did think the parking fee per day was pretty expensive, since we had to walk pretty far from our car to the hotel. Overall, we had a great stay, and would highly recommend this resort to families.
“Very Satisfied”
We were very satisfied with the resort and its location. The hotel was very nice and we especially enjoyed the pools. There is also a nice walking path along the beach which we enjoyed. The staff were very friendly and helpful as well.
“Great value for a Great Hotel”
I absolutely recommend Kauai Beach Resort to anyone planning a trip to the middle eastern side of Kauai. It feels exclusive and luxurious without the price of one. I like that it didn't feel cookie cutter corporate and provided the feel of the relaxing vacation I was looking for. Clean facilities. Very helpful and friendly staff. And centrally located. Equidistant to both north and south beaches, which are beautiful for different reasons. Near local eats and shops and very close to the airport. I would definitely stay here again...in fact, I wish I was there now...

“Loved every minute here!”
We stayed here for 6 nights with our 9 month old daughter and had a wonderful time! The room was plenty spacious for all of our belongings with the baby along. All of the staff was really helpful, and the hotel was in the perfect spot on the island for us. There aren't many beaches in the winter that it was safe to take our daughter swimming, but Lydgate Park was only a couple minutes drive and had a protected beach where she could sit in the water and play. We'll definitely come back to Kauai and to Kauai Beach Resort!
“Will be back next year”
Nice quiet location and the staff were very helpful in booking our luau and helicopter tour. The food was excellent and the host gracious. Will be back for more.
“Great Location”
While this hotel is not located in the premier spots of the North or the South, it is located in the middle of both which allowed for very easy day trip to either side of the island. After staying here for 5 days, I really appreciated the fact that I didn't have to travel an hour to get to the other side of the island. Everywhere I wanted to go was within 30 minutes. The only negative is this hotel isn't a plush as your 5 start hotels. But who wants to spend all day in a hotel anyway. This is a great place to stay if you want to make the most of your time and have a comfortable spot to stay.
“First time to Hawaii great experience”
This was a very good first time visit to the Island of Kauai, with a great hotel and Luau show made it all worth it.
