“Best Hotel on Kauai”
My husband and I stayed at the Hyatt twice already and we love the atmosphere as well as the beauty this hotel has to offer. The service is always fantastic and the people are very friendly. The pool area is one of the prettiest we have seen at any hotel located on Kauai. The restaurants serve great food, especially Tidepools. Breakfast buffe is always fresh and offers a good selection. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. The little shops located in the hotel offer a wide range of things that make beautiful gifts for family and friends. We thought about trying a different hotel the next time, but it looks like that there is no other hotel on Kauai that offers all the amenities we are looking for.
“Grand Hyatt in Kauai was wonderful overall”
The hotel was really nice overall. The proximity from the hotel room down to places was long. The elevators were far apart and pretty far from the Expedia room you booked for us. That was the most disappointing thing. Other than that the views, staff and location were nice. The prices for food seemed a little high. We checked out the Marriot in Lihue while we were there and the prices for food were about 1/3 cheaper. Overall though it was a great trip.
“Amazing”
The hotel was amazing! We would return for sure. The panorama was unbelievable, the staff helpful, the meals delicious.
“Great experience”
My boyfriend and I recently returned home from The Grand Hyatt on Kauai, and we had the time of our lives there. The restaurants had delicious food (though the breakfast buffet at the terrace restaurant was a bit high at 30$ a person) and the pools were spectacular. There wasn't a great area on the beach right in front of the hotel for lounging because there were a lot of rocks that lined the shore, but if you walked down the beach for about mile you could be at one of the most popular beaches on the island (Poipu). We booked in November and got a great air/hotel deal at 1200$ a person (and 200$ of that was just tax). The rooms were great, and though this doesn't pertain directly to the hotel, we were able to rent mopeds to drive around the island on from a local company out of Poipu (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!) :) we had a blast.
“Hotel”
Had a great time!! Hotel is beautiful.. Would stay again!!
“Excellent vacation”
Great place. Amazing location Recommend the spa and the grand club option
“Good find”
Fantastic hotel . Well located and attention to detail. If you want to see more of the island stay on the north shore too.
“Real gem of a hotel”
Wonderful hotel, especially the pool and the restaurants. The only complaint was that the Wifi was broken in the rooms and was not fixed for the entire 10 days we stayed there.
“Great hotel - Looking forward to returning”
Very nice hotel. Stayed in Deluxe Ocean View room - not as elegant as I'd hoped but still quite comfortable. Clean. Great food and service. Huge, well-cared-for property. Highly recommended.
“The Best hotel”
Can't say enough!! The hotel was awesome. Tidepools is the best restaurant we found. The staff was great, the rooms clean, and the pool was AWESOME. Were already planning our next trip with the kids. Thanks Grand Hyatt for a wonderful time.
