“What a wonderful place!!”
We stayed here on early October for 8 days and simply a gorgeous place for family vacation. We reserved for two bed ocean view and they upgraded us to ocean front at no additional charge. The small lagoon right in front of resort was PERFECT for our small children. I will definately go back soon.
“Beautiful location”
This is a beautiful location for a condo; right on a great, swimmable beach with sensational views of the ocean and lush green hills. It is also a short walk to the Coconut Marketplace where you can see a movie, have shave ice and take the kids for pizza or barbecue. The only negatives were that the condos are outdated inside; no effort has been made to update them whatsoever. We stayed in two different units and both were decorated circa early 70's. We had to move out of the first until because the downstairs older couple complained about noise our children made. We also were upbraided by another older owner about our bringing lawn chairs to the beach. Because of this, the resort did not have a very welcoming feel.
“Beautiful setting”
We were very happy with our flat and hope to return there some day. It had a wonderful view of the bay, it was clean and everything functioned.
“Best Family Place”
Centrally located, beautifully maintained garden right on the beach which feels like a private beach, walk to restaurants, one mile from safeway, Longs and ABC. 26 miles to Princeville, 45 miles to the grand canyon of the pacific. It is not a hotel it is simply a condo, you feel at home. If you go there pack very little.
“Excellent vacation”
Very nive facility in a beautiful location. We would definitely go back to stay.
“Thoroughly recommend”
Lovely condo, spacious, clean and beautifully furnished. Great views too from the balcony over the shared pool and the kite surfers in the sea. The location was quiet and because the complex wasn't very big it felt personal and friendly.
“This Vacation was a Home Run!”
We could not believe our good fortune when we walked into the immaculate condo and pulled back the drapes to expose the breath taking ocean view. Being steps from a white sandy beach was optimal for our family. We could have just hung out at the resort the entire time we were in Kauai. The grounds were meticulously maintained. The daily condo room refresh/cleaning service was a complete bonus! We cannot wait to come back to this paradise!!
“Great view and well situated”
Great view of the coastline and close to local amenities (restaurants and stores). Room furniture a little dated but spacious and clean. Walk out to the beach past the resort pool.
“Can't wait to go back”
Our hotel room at the Lanikai was not exactly what we were looking for, so the staff accommodated us at their other resort the Kaha Lani. We were very happy there. The resort is ocean front and the only one at this location. The beach and the views from our balcony were incredible. We were very secluded at this location and had the beach pretty much to ourselves all day. We got the opportunity to see a monk seal that had beached itself two days in a row at our beach, and we swam next to a sea turtle that was there when we were out swimming in the beach. Lydgate Park is right next door, and they have an amazing playground for kids. Overall we were extremely happy with our stay.
“Loved our stay in Kauai!!”
We had a great stay at Lanikai! Staff was helpful and friendly. Condo was well maintained and quite comfortable. We look forward to returning next year!
