“going back”

The only bad thing I can say about this place was that for a family of 4 they only gave you four sets of towels for 5 days and it was $18 dollars for a new set. Although you could go wash yours. But i would think for 7 days you would get maybe a change in towels every 3 day. Considering you are at the beach getting sandy and shower quite frequently to rinse off sand and chlorine from the pool. But I absolutely loved everything else about this place and would stay there again.

“Ocean view was worth it”

Nice 1 bedroom with beautiful view of hotel's lagoon and the ocean beyond. Decor was a little dated - 1990's rattan and colors. Master bed was very comfortable. We had a corner unit, three flights up - no elevator. The trade winds made our stay very comfortable. We also enjoyed the sounds of the birds and frogs, though sometimes it woke us up. The pool was ok, had a medium size slide, my kids had fun there, but we were here for the beaches.

“Outstanding Property”

When traveling on vacation, I refer to trip advisor for hotel reviews, after reading mixed reviews of the property I had some reservations. For those people traveling to a tropical island and who have complaints of bugs, the sounds of birds and hot weather conditions should reconsider traveling to any tropical island. My husband and 3 children stayed at the Castle Kiahuna Planation Bldg. 2 Apartment 7, for 6 nights and it was the best imaginable property we have yet to stay. The Kiahuna Planatation Staff was incredibly kind, courteous and gracious, the property is well maintained and immaculate. The pool is incredible with 2 separate waterfalls and a waterslide, not to mention the property is located on one of the best beaches in Kauai (Poipu Beach), that offer private surf lessons.

“Our New Winter Home!”

It was our first time to Hawaii. Our flight from the east cost was long and it left us tired and weary. However the destination was worth it. We tried to do everything we could fit into a week. Now we are looking into returning for a month or more later this year.

We were so impressed with our condo. The grounds were beautiful, the staff were super friendly and helpful, and our condo was beyond our expectations. We would highly recommend this location to anyone visiting Kauai.

The location is wonderful, the room was clean, the kitchen had all the amenities, and the beach was beautiful.

“Very happy with location”

We were very happy with our condo at the Castle Resort. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Our location was great. We had a view of the ocean and could walk across the bridges and lawn to the beach. Towels and beach chairs were available and it was wonderful to sit at night at watch the sun go down. Great location. Our condo was very comfortable. We liked the patio outside. It was clean and the grounds were clean and well taken care of. For us, the overall location was very good. Although, we never went to the pool or ate at the restaurant on the premises, it was a short walk to the shopping center and to some very nice restaurants. The resort's beach was also good for swimming, snorkeling. We even watched surf lessons going on every day. Would recommend to others and look forward to going back again.

“Best time ever!”

Great place to stay with a great view. The condo had everything we needed. We were surprised how many things were available to us in the closet. We even donated a skim board to the owner. Look forward to going back someday.

Close the plantation blinds at night because the local birds are early risers! The condo was great and the beach/grass area was even better. Karen Barns, the Expedia Concierge was very helpful in booking our adventures for us. We had a wonderful time, and would definitely return. Mahalo

“Already Planninig Next Year!”

Hotel grounds are beautiful, well maintained...and the BEACH!! The property is right on Poipu beach, can't say enough good things about Kiahuna! The condo we were in was near the road, but the view from the lanai...couldn't be beat! I don't even think the infamous Kaua'i roosters bothered me...the place was so wonderful! BBQs on the property were excellent...clean and new! Paul at the activities hut on the beach was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area.
