“Will stay here again next year!”

Comfortable and quiet. We were politely upgraded when our partial ocean view room looked only into two trees. Friendly staff, good location.

This hotel was very nice and clean. The staff was absolutely awesome! VERY FRIENDLY PEOPLE! The coconut market place (few steps from hotel) was pretty cool for shopping and not to mention LAPPERT'S ICECREAM! yummy!!! Will definately book there again next year! We stayed at hotel for 8 days.

“Excellent stay, right on the beach”

My wife and I stayed at this resort in Jan 2008, and we were extremely pleased. It's right on the beach, our Ocean View room had an excellent balcony view to the ocean, and the staff was extremely friendly. Coconut Marketplace right next door has some excellent, affordable eateries making things really convenient.

“Awesome trip”

Kapa'a is centrally located onthe island which is great. It's a nice town - there is a small amount of car trafiic - no big deal to those of us from the 'mainland'. Great restaurants and shopping - and the beach is awesome for long walks, sunrise, and sunsets. There was even a seal who kept beaching himself there. You could see whales with the naked eye (late Jan/Feb) The hotel was everything it was billed to be. Not super luxurious but who cares, you're in Kauai and don't spend much time inside anyway. There are several nice bars within walking distance, and several tour companies right on premises. It's about a 30-40 minuted drive to the north shore (Hanalei) and about the same to the west shore (Wimea Town). Kaua'i is so extraordinarily beautiful that as long as something doesn't get in your way, you will have the time of your life. Just use plenty of suncreen.

“Great Location!!!”

We went to kauai to get married, and we got a room upgrade and a box of chocolates from the hotel. The location of this hotel is perfect. A safeway grocery store and Starbucks are down the road. Get a savers club card at Safeway, it is free and saves you tons of money!! Also a walmart is about a 15 min drive away...watch out for the roosters in parking lot...lol. the hotel has three gas grills by the pool. Our room came with a fridge, microwave, and utensils so we went to grocery store and bought bagels for breakfast and sandwhich meats and chips for lunches. Behind the hotel is a small shopping area and all 4 restarants(sp!) were great! Also small grocery for booze and extra grocery items is there as well as some shoppping. We will stay there again. It is not a luxery hotel but it was clean and comfy. Bed was good, shower worked and air conditioning works! Also...ask for an ocean view...its worth it. however, I think the pool view rooms are nice too. The ocean is rough on the East side for swimming but we laid on the beach. Drive around the island and see all sides...grab your snorkel equp and towels and drive. Many beaches for swimming and snoreling......ENJOY!

“Enjoyed our stay!”

We were very pleased with our stay. The room was clean. Kitchenette was great. We received courteous help with computer connection. Shops and eatery at Coconut Plantation were handy. Clean beaches, take care of swimming. Wouldn't recommend for children and beginning swimmers. We would like to return again in the future!

“Very Nice”

We really enjoyed the room. It was nice and roomy. The hotel upgraded our room free so we could have a queen size bed instead of two doubles. Even gave us an ocean view! Really appreciated this.

“Loved the Ocean Front Room”

The rooms weren't large - just typical small hotel room that had been nicely renovated and was very clean. Weloved the area and beach. The Ocean Front Room had an awesome view - we could have thrown a rock and hit the beach.
