“Elegant Condo”

We've stayed a couple of times at Poipu Kai through the several different condo management companies. This condo was very, very nice, compared to the typical Poipu Kai condo. Nice tile floors, granite countertops, good appliances, and a generally new feeling, unlike some others that have been somewhat worn.

“Nice place in Poipu”

The Aston is a condo complex, not a hotel. It worked very well for me as we were able to buy some groceries and have coffee, breakfast and lunch without having to go out 3 times a day. There is a very nice pool and Shipwreck beach is but a short walk away. Kaihuna golf course and Poipu Bay are within a 5 minute drive, and several good restaurants are nearby. I would definitely go back.

“Great for Families”

The condos were perfect for our group who had never been to Hawaii and went for a family wedding. The beach was far enough to keep little kids safe and close enough for older ones to explore and stay in sight. We had separate 3 condos, and all were light and airy and very comfortable. We really enjoyed the barbeque grills for a group dinner. It was hard to tear ourselves away.

“What A View!”

The condo was a little confusing to find due to lack of a "ResortQuest" sign, but it was definitely worth it. The suite was well maintained and the view from the lanai was exceptional! The grounds, pool, and path to the beach were very inviting and we felt totally secure, even going out in the evenings. If you plan a trip to Kauai, this is the place to stay.

“Very Nice”

Would definitely recommend. Upgraded to a three bedroom "home" vs condo. It was fantastic! Easy walk to the beach. Staff was very helpful.

“The Details make it”

The overall ambience of this place is great, the grounds are beautiful and the amenities(gas grills included) are well kept. The 'Kitchenette' was really a full kitchen and this is where the attention to detail really showed. I've never before stayed in a kitchenette where so much was already provided - dish detergent, salt & pepper; even coffee provided on a daily basis. There was even a package of laundry detergent with the washer and I've NEVER seen that before. I would highly recommend this to anyone who likes to have options to cook and would like to stay in a lovely place. Oh and the waves crashing on the rocks within walking distance are stupendous.

“Great Location”

This condo was just one block from the beach. It was beautifully decorated and fully equipped. The grounds were peaceful and well maintained. The only drag was the hotel closed both pool areas at the same time for 2 days but how often will that happen. Go to Kapaa for meals. Lots of choices. Ty the fish tacos. Shopping at the farmers is fun and you can find many locally made idems.

“All the Comforts of Home...in Paradise”

This hotel/condo was perfect for our travel needs. We had all the comforts of home, were within a short walk of the beach, enjoyed wonderful landscaping and facilities at the Aston...can't say enough! I would definitely recommend the Aston Poipu Kai to a friend, and would not hesitate to stay again.
