Only stayed for the night. Enjoyed the Tiki Bar/Lounge. Arrived later in the afternoon, so I got to have a couple happy hour beverages and a bite to eat. Left early the next morning. Ice machine was out of order on my floor. Overall, it was fine for my stay.

When we arrived to the property the room that were put in did not have a function door panel. Our key cards would not work. We called maintenance they worked on it. They said it would work and then the next morning it did not work, and we had to go back to the front desk to have them call maintenance again. This went on for 3 days and we had to call maintenance 7 times each time to get into our room before they moved us rooms. They did not offer any support or discount for the inconvenience. They never once came by to clean our room even though our door hanger said we wanted it cleaned. They do not tell you about the free waters you are supposed to get, they do not offer breakfast vouchers for your stay. My friend had cockroaches in her room. They gave away another friends room. Honestly, I would just pay more for a better place rather than staying here where they post cheaper rooms, but it's not worth the extra charges you receive and the multiple inconveniences without being offered any sort of a discount.

Very convenient location right beside Lydgate Beach Park. Food service is very limited although the items I ordered were good. The hotel itself is dated. And the resort fee is a joke—it got me two promotional water bottles and a pool towel.

customer service. Treated like a left over. The first room was on the lowest floor looking at a service truck. We asked for a room with a tub and they moved us up one floor looking at the top of truck. We were there for three full days and two half days and when we checked out they tried to charge me $608.00 for hotel amenites. We were never there. Prior to getting to the hotel experience we stopped at a counter for Hawian Airlines in Maui to simply ask how do we pick our seats for our return flight back to Seatac and we were told by customer service ,who looked at our flight, that we had not rights or ability to ask for seats. He we were nothing and we would get what they decided.

The staff were very friendly and the property has direct access to the beach. We could walk to several different places to eat and coffee shops. There is a Safeway near by to things you may need.

Great place to stay! Good food and great staff. Only complaint is the parking and resort fees but at checkout. The hotel is away from anyone wanting to park there. There’s not security and plenty of parking. They don’t need to nickel and dime you for it $25 a day!!

The property itself is very nice and maintained. The rooms are nice, we had a cottage which was off to the side and more secluded from the main hotel. The one downfall was the housekeeping. The first night they came and cleaned very well. Second day they didn’t come at all so we had to go get more towels from the front desk which wasn’t a big deal. The third day they came, changed our bed linens and left towels and that’s it. We were completely out of toilet paper and on top of that they either threw away or took a bag and two brand new boxes of feminine products I had in the bathroom. When I called the front desk they said that the housekeeping staff doesn’t touch anything unless it’s inside the garbage. Well that just isn’t true because this stuff definitely wasn’t in the garbage. All she said was we will tell the housekeeping staff. Didn’t offer to make it right or anything. Very very frustrating. So from that point on we didn’t want them in the room at all so we kept the hang tag on the door stating we didn’t need housekeeping. We stayed 5 nights total. The location is perfect honestly, very close to the airport and right outside Kaapa which was great. Overall a decent stay but I probably wouldn’t book here again because of the housekeeping experience.

I wish I'd known up front about the $25/day for parking and another $25/day "resort fee". We felt a bit like it was bait and switch. Also, I think the place is a bit run down. I understand they are probably still digging out from the Covid years, so it's understandable. But a nice walkway to the beach wouldn't be too costly. Instead, it's a worn old dirt path. Come on, this is the Hilton!

The staff were not friendly. When I arrived they were not very welcoming. Also, they offer fish feeding as an activity offered by the hotel. The first day when we wanted to participate, we came to the lobby and found no staff there for the activity. At 7:59 which is 1 minute before the activity I asked the staff if they were doing fish feeding at 8am. She said “yeah, in 2 minutes.” After waiting for a bit, 8:09 am, no one came. A man, who also is staying at the hotel saw us standing by the Koi fish pond and he said, “Did you know you can go up to the front desk and ask for some food to feed the fish?” That’s when I found out that this is what I had to do. The staff who I asked didn’t care to help and never bothered to check back with me. Another frustrating thing too is that I had called 6 months ahead of time when I reserved the hotel that I had an elderly in a wheelchair and 3 young kids. I needed two rooms next to each other and did not want to be far apart from them. They said ok and it was settled but when we got there it was not the case. We finally did get it resolved eventually but we were one room away from each other. After two days there were cockroaches in one of the rooms. So we ended up splitting up and my 2 kids and elderly mom had to be far away in another direction of the wing. This was very upsetting. Another disappointment is that they charge a parking fee per day and a resort fee per day. This is ridiculous! The resort fee should include the parking fee.

Overall maintenance was lacking. Coffeemaker didn’t work, hot tub wasn’t open when we wanted to use it. It seemed that our AC was about to go out even though it continued to work very loudly. We like the location but probably would not stay here again for the price we paid.

This property was misleading online it looked a lot cleaner and a closer ocean view. We had mold in the bathroom stains on the carpet and sofa pull out, and when we checked in the front desk girl was not friendly and helpful. There was no bellboy or valet parking we checked out the next day we would never stay at this property again.

We had booked a cottage which is costly option since we have 2 kids. It was raining heavily when we reached so the reception lady said we will have to walk to the cottage and get wet and it wont fit 4 people or move to a smaller room. The smaller room was the cheapest option. She didnt refund us the difference in charges neither gave us any other way to compensate for. She wasnt at all helpful and her attitude was take it or leave it. We had flown for more that 13 hrs and kids were tired and we didnt have the capacity to argue with her and just took the keys and let her have way with the whole situstion.

Just an ok hotel. No doors on the shower made it really hard to keep the bathroom dry. There was a $25 a day “activity fee” which I wasn’t expecting and seemed to offer very little. Supposedly, bike rentals were included with this fee, but the bikes were at another company 2 miles away and you had to reserve a specific time. There’s a concierge, which is mostly staffed by a sign that says “be back soon”. The tiki bar had a great hamburger and the beach the hotel is located on is great.

Great room but lousy lunch/dinner
This is a very nice hotel to stay at. The main restaurant open for breakfast. You had to go to tike hut if you want lunch and dinner. It rained a couple of days so you had to walk in the rain to get food. Limited under cover seating. The workers were great and very helpful.

A nice place to put your toes on the sand!
It was a beautiful island with so much foliage and beauty. Unfortunately it was the rainy season so it. Did ruin the ocean activities but that is Mother Nature. The hotel was very quiet and helpful.
