Tres bien dans l'ensemble superbe chambre accueil top. Petit déjeuner excellent merci Boyd le monsieur qui gère tout au petit déjeuner il est plein d'attention envers nous. Le bagagistes a l'accueil aussi est super . Seul bemol travaux a coté de la piscine. Heureusement jallais a la plage . Pleins de marchés autour . Un petit message aux amis russes qui lirons ce commentaire : respecter svp les gens autour de vous !! Que ce soit les clients ou que ce soit le personnel de l'hôtel. Merci .

Lhotel est bien situe et confortable. Il a 2 piscines et une salle de gym. Lhappy hour au bord de la piscine vaut vraiment le coup et le personnel est charmant. Par contre beaucoup de monde au buffet du petit dej du coup il manque tres vite les meilleures choses... et la plage de kata est tres decevante

Nous avons apprécié la chambre car piscine privée, le petit dejeuner varié. Nous n'avions pas apprécié l'horaire de fin du petit dejeuner car trop tôt 10h. Nous étions trois et nous avions que deux serviettes de bain chaque jour malgré la demande. Les piscines non nettoyés. L'accès à la reception et restaurant et piscine collective dans un autre batiment, passage par le parking. Dans la chambre il y a un peignoir et pantoufle a dispo mais interdiction de les garder car ils les gardent alors que dans les autres hotels c'est offert. Vous devez attendre que la femme de menage compte le nombre de serviette avant de partir dommage qu'ils ne fassent pas confiance. A part ca ca a été.

Nous avons passés 2nuits dans cet hôtel. Nous avons été bien accueilli avec boisson et bracelet de fleurs. Arrivés avant l'heure du check in nous avons quand même eu notre chambre. La chambre et le salon propre. La salle de bain présence de cheveux dans le siphon et dans la baignoire. Vue sur les travaux, ça c'est pas top il devrait peut être limité le booking des chambres côté travaux. Grande salle de bain avec douche et baignoire. Petite cuisine bien pratique pour le repas (frigo, plaque,micro onde,placard,...). Un canapé lit dans le coin salon avec grand télé. La piscine est agréable à côté de l'air de jeux pour enfant. Pas assez de transats. Le quartier en construction. 2marchés nocturnes, beaucoup de restaurants pas chers, salons de massage, boutiques de souvenirs, et super marché. La place est 5 min à pied mais le chemin n'est pas tip top propre. La plage est super.

amazing value! I loved Kata and the hotel. plenty of things to walk and see. the sister resort next door had a pool and bar with live music. AC works great. Employees were always helpful and knew enough English to be able to offer great service. The breakfast was just okay.

In the center of all the shopping, restaurants (the night market), and a 5-10 min walk to the beach. Noises from the night bars (speaker systems) can be heard in the hotel. We are up seven floors up and still the bass from the music played echos in our room.

Overall I enjoyed my stay here, we got the bigger room for 4 people but I honestly have to say the space was tight for 4 ppl and luggage, I wish the rooms were bigger or at least the common area that would be a plus. There are many restaurants and bars around the area to eat and also the Kata night market is across the street which is a plus! The beach is about a 10 min walk very convenient! The staff are nice in the lobby, check in was smooth. Could the hotel use some updates yes certainly but it had everything we needed for our trip so I would recommend the hotel

The Grand Kata was a very nice hotel. The room was spacious and clean (we were in a 2 bedroom room). The pool was nice, the breakfast was very good with many choices including having eggs made for you any way you like. The staff were friendly and helpful. The cleaning staff did a great job cleaning the room every day. My biggest negative was how incredibly busy it was everywhere around the hotel. I don't know why but I expected it to be somewhat secluded but it is in the middle of an extremely congested city life. The positive about that was the many food choices easily within walking distance. But there are people and vehicles everywhere. It was a bit of a walk to Kata beach which is absolutely beautiful. You can rent chairs and an umbrella for 100 baht per person which is reasonable and there are food stands on or just off the beach. If you understand how busy your surroundings will be and are OK with that then you should be very satisfied with the Grand Kata.

I booked a “Grand room 2Bed room” for two nights through Expedia. The room advertised in the photos had a view of a green lawn with messi and other on the windows. However, the room I was assigned to was not the one in the pictures but was located on the second floor with a terrible view of a dirty river and a building under construction. I informed the front desk about the discrepancy with the photos, but no changes were made, and I ended up staying in that room for two nights. The male staff at the front desk was also unhelpful, which made the start of my vacation in Phuket very unpleasant. Since the room provided was different from what was advertised, I will also be contacting Expedia about this issue.

Overall we had a good experience. Highlights: Good location, excellent breakfast included, two nice pools, and friendly and efficient staff. Areas of improvement: The gym is in poor shape with broken equipment, the hotel must have a towel theft issue and they are guarded, and a US$100 cash deposit was required at check in which was returned after room inspection.

Nice hotel, Area was OK
We opted for the plunge pool room. It was a small outdoor area. Not sure it was worth the price difference. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The AC needed a card in the slot to keep it going, so it took a while to cool down when you return to the room. Breakfast had some good options with an egg bar. The restaurant had different event themes that we did not get a chance to try, but looked nice. We did not spend any time at Kata Beach because it was difficult to access and not an overly nice beach. Tons of restaurance nearby and the night market and walking street within a 5 minute walk. Tons of families, not a party area. Costly taxi and Grab to go to nearby towns or sightseeing. If you are set on the area, the hotel was nice, but I suggest a different island in Thailand as it didn't feel like Thailand and the local restaurants had novels for menus.

Had an amazing stay at the Grand Kata. Staff were amazing, very friendly and helpful. Location is great, walking distance to Kata and Karon beach and 10 min ride to Patong. 1-2 minute walk to the local markets and shops. Rooms were very clean and beds were comfortable. Separate air conditioning in each room and large balcony. Bathrooms were clean and nice to use. Breakfast buffet was excellent, a very wide range of food from traditional thai food to western breakfast options with an assortment of fruits and pastries. Freshly cooked eggs of your choice. Nice gym and pool although the pool would be a bit small if it gets crowded. Overall would definately recommend staying here, very convenient location, clean and well priced.

Ligger lidt dejligt tilbage trukket og er fint sted. Stedet er lidt “koldt” men ellers super fint. Men byudsigt, arg det var til en byggeplads med mange frøer pga tegn
