“Marienbad”

It appears that the hotel was build during the cold war days, but it is very good value. The grounds behind the hotel are 5 star with a beautiful tennis court and lounges and a large chess board. It has a very nice indoor pool and spa facilities. No AC, except for the "wintergarden" on the second floor. No English channels on TV (have complained about that) and no English papers. Have not explored the great forest next to the hotel, but it looks great for those like to hike. Overall... a great place to relax for a week and breath some great air and try some of the springs. The staff was is very helpful and friendly. Limited service after 10 pm.

hotel confortable, bien placé et très calme, extérieur et piscine plaisants surtout après une route assez longue; la moyenne d'age est assez élevé et la fréquentation des clients est essentiellement allemande compte tenu de la proximité de la frontière. Le petit plus appréciable : un verre de champagne de bohème offert à notre arrivée
