“Excellent deal for the price”

You know if I had paid a $100 I would have expected more from a hotel. However, I did not. I took a chance and was pleased. The staff was extremely accomodating to our needs. I did notice a few things that need to be repaired in the pool area, but it did not stop my two little girls from enjoying the indoor pool and I from the hot tub. Overall, my daughters and I were extremely pleased with the quality of our stay in comparison to the price I paid. The location is accomodating as well to restraunts as well as close to tubing in which brought us to this city.

“It's a motel room”

This was a cheap place to stay and that was about it. We wanted to leave our car there and take the shuttle to the airport, but they wanted $15 each way and your car wasn't secure at the motel. You can park in the economy park at the airport for $5.50/day and it's only ten minutes from the hotel.

I have stayed at the Travelodge in Platte City, MO a few times and usually I am satisfied with the rooms but the room I was in this time was in a different building & it wasn't very big. It had webs in the corners of the rooms so obviously they don't have a lot of people in that room. The bathroom was quite small. It was kind of a creepy room but I was only there 1 night so I was fine but if i were going to stay in that room for more than 1 night I would have requested a different room.

Hotel was average. Clean. Had an issue of a maintance man cutting through our room after we checked in. Glad we were dressed. We did not really pay attention to the back door. ASSUMED it was locked-suprise!! But overall. O.K. owever, they allow us to check in early which helped us out as we were getting married that day and they saved us a few hours of wait and travel time!!

“very run down”

i stayed at this hotel in may 2011. i got a king size bed room. everything was spotless very nice. took a trip again in 09/2011, they didnt have any king rooms left( even though i had reserved it 3 months ahead of time). they gave me a double bed room- which was fine. got in there- microwave was missing- but they did bring another right away. bathroom the whole trip was filled with ants. none of the cords reached the outlets- i had to move everything. walls were filthy- spatter of i dont know what everywhere. towels were very old- looked like rags. the staff was very nice and i didnt complain to them as you get what you pay for and the price was very cheap.

“Bugs!”

Just needed a place to shower and sleep and use internet in the evenings, within 2 hours of stay, killed 2 large spiders and 2 small beetles of some sort. Thought about sleeping in the car so i wouldn't wake up with bug bits! Spend the extra money for a better hotel. Doors open to the outside, more like a run-down motel.

reasonable price but you get what you pay for.

“NOT FRIENDLY”

This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. They were not very nice people running the place.

The flights were delayed which understandable due to weather. The hotel wasn't the one I expected. I found spider on my bed and I have to ask the manager for a bug spray. The location was not convenient where I was supposed to be going. I should stated where I was going which is more convenient. Bottom line, I got what I paid for.

“Not a good choice!”

This hotel was not very clean, had boxes and a childs bike in hallway, room we stayed in smelled and dirty. They have to many "live in" customers there. Very loud at night so was hard to sleep and the walls are very thin! You can hear everthing your friendly neighbor is doing. I will not return to this hotel. Pool area unsafe and hot tub out of order. Very old and unkept.
