Hotel was closed and condemned. A 3 star hotel????
Arrived late only to find a desolate area. Closed and condemned hotel. What a joke spent evening looking for another hotel to stay. You should check out places before offering them to people. This placed was a total mess. Looked like no one had even been around for years. Biggest dump I have ever seen. 3 star rating??????How could you mislead people. Would have never stayed if it was new. Bad area. We had no idea where anything was because we were from out of state. Questioning Expedia??????chalk that up to experience. Never again. Wished I would have taken a pictute. Totally ruined the start of a vacation.

closed down without any notice!!
We prepaid online. It was our anniversary and were looking forward to a romantic night. We arrived to a hotel that was completely closed down. We had NO idea! There were no phone calls, no emails, texts...NOTHING to let us know to make other arrangements! And NO WAY to contact the hotel for a refund or other arrangements. Very disappointed!

We arrived at 10:30pm to find our hotel was no longer in business..... it was a bad experience, however the note on the door explained the Mark Adam's hotel would honor our reservation and they did! Mark Adam's Hotel was excellent in every way!

Real close to all the casinos. Several diffrent restraints with in one mile of Hotel. The hotel is huge. It's kind of run down but the room wasn't bad. Nothing fancy but then again I spent a majority if my time at Harras and the Artists Casino. I would stay there again for the price.

A lot of bad little good.
The hotel looked very run down and almost abandoned on the outside. The breakfast was only toast and cold cereal. The walk area had holes in he ceiling that was leaking during our stay. On our floor the ice machine didn't work and the gym had an annoying beeping noise all weekend. In the room the TV is about 30 years old and made a loud high piercing ring if it was on for too long. The wifi was spotty or nonexistent could not connect the whole 3 nights I was there. At night there were a group of gentlemen outside the hotel trying to get in but the hotel manager would not let them in as if they didn't belong. One of the men outside smelled of weed. The carpet was dirty in our room and there was only one trash can in the whole room and it was not in the bathroom of all places. The AC worked perfectly to the point it was really cold. That was a plus and the bed was very soft and comfy. Other then that I probably would not return in the future. The McDonald's near by is 24hrs.

The room was HUGE, The bed was massive and very comfortable, the view from the 8th floor was nothing less than impressive. The staff were very nice, breakfast was sparse but delicious, our room was clean, and I felt safe. Hotel suffering in some places cosmetically but still a very nice place to stay!

I will not stay at this hotel again....
I was impressed with the staff, they went above and beyond to try and help my stay be better,there was no bellman.Overall property is very poor,leaking water in the hallway leading to the elevator.The elevator was very rickety,only one elevator was in service, so we had to wait a long time. There was NOT ice/vending on my floor. My a/c didn't work. The repair man came immediately, and they found me another room, but it was on a different floor from where my friends were staying. The hotel claimed they were full, but the parking lot was very empty.When I got to the new room, the shower didn't drain properly, so I had above the ankle water by the time I was done. There was no fridge in the room. No drapes on the windows, only shades, so in the morning the sun woke me up. The TV was very small so it was hard to see from any angle in the room. When we returned to the room on Saturday night, we were locked out, and our keys didn't open any of the doors. We finally pounded on the front door of the lobby until someone came and let us in. I won't stay there again, even though it's in the perfect location for events that I attend once a month in that area. I would rather drive farther and pay more for a nicer place.

Totally crap place horrible.and when I say horrible I mean it. Tub was filthy didn't even drain. Hair dryer didn't work. Tv didn't work. Windows were filthy and the landscaping hadn't been touched all summer. There was a leak in the middle of a hall that was there the entire time and no one addressed it except with a caution sign. If i.could give it. O stars I would. Oh and the beds were old and horribe to sleep on the sheets were the roughest I've ever felt even sounded like paper when u moved. Awful. Don't do it.

Hard to believe that Wyndham admits it's theirs
Hotel is out of the way in an industrial park. It is poorly maintained. Stains everywhere - rugs, bedsheets. Paint chipping everywhere. Looks like it may have been nice at one time but hojos or Wyndham have decided not to keep it up. It is very, very rundown. More of what you would expect from a very low budget roadside motel. Nowhere to eat in the hotel or even near it except Denny's, McDonalds, and Quicktrip. Hard to believe that Wyndham would attach its name to such a place. If it had been my 1st experience in a Wyndham hotel, I'd never stay in another one. I still may not based on that experience.

This the worst hotel..why are they still open..first room..yes I said first..the toilet was broken..2nd room floor had hugh stains,air didnt work..3rd room restroom floors and sink dirty,and no wash cloths. .air was broken..just walking thru the hall felt like hell..ceilings had holes and water damage..had oder thu hotel..no ice machines on all 9 floors. .the desk clerk came up to check the air the 3rd room..he goes to it and said that it worked..I replied. ..you are kidding right..you this room is hot..Needless to say..I went downstairs and got a full refund..this place is totally trash

Please do not stay in this hotel.
Will never stay, my first and last time. Room was so dirty, tv was not working properly, only had one towel in bathroom and the shower was either hot or cold. Look at the pictures than decide to stay.

It was not a good experience. The hotel is dirty.
The hotel staff were ok. The room was dirty, light bulbs out, phone didn't work, valence was hanging off shades, the shades didn't work well, wallpaper torn off, glued back on, and coming off again. There were no bed bugs (because we looked,) however we found a toy BB gun under the bed that initially looked real. When we turned it in, it didn't seem to alarm the staff. The complimentary breakfast was terrible; didn't even eat it. Calling it a "convention center" is a joke. You would think the location (near Worlds of Fun and Arrowhead) would be a good reason to keep the place neat and clean.

They claim to have a complementary breakfast & all they had was cereal , muffins & Oatmeal the hotel had spider Webbs everywhere & when I was leaving breakfast I flicked a huge spider off my leg I would never stay there again

It was Ok
The room was big, the beds were small. The bathroom had hair all over the floor which is disgusting to me and the bar area with the coffee pot had crumbs so it made me feel like the room wasnt cleaned. We were so tired since it was 1130 we just went to sleep woke up and left. For the price I'd expect more.

The hotel itself looked in need of a refresh although it was clean in places and they seem to be working hard to get rid of all the smells. Breakfast was OK but only cereal breads fruit and yogurt....nothing else. The dining area was just OK the chairs looked like they needed a good clean. The carpets were stained. The room itself was almost fine. When I arrived there was hairs on the carpet leading to the bathroom. The room was comfortable. There was a coffee maker although only one cup provided. The room had an Iron and Ironing board. The TV was small flat screen with a limited selection of channels working. The internet was fast. Unless it improves I would not stay at the hotel again.

There was only one staff member working upfront at check in, he was on a phone call so it took even longer to get checked in. He was very pleasant though. The hotel beds were clean and comfy. The bathroom had a cricket in it and a dead bug in the sink. The coffee maker had crusted stuff inside and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in awhile. It smelled like a retirement home. Overall served its purpose but we have stayed at better places for $70/night.

Yard maintenance no one cares about. Breakfast area outlets not covered mold along baseboards. WiFi did not work on seventh floor. Cable went in an out. Main lobby floors not clean. Elevatorso dirty. Ice machines had to play hide and seek to find. Breakfast was a joke toast and mini muffins really?!!!! Location was the the worst part. Over all experience not again!!!

We got to the hotel and it looked nice however, looks are deceiving. The carpets were discusting, there was blood on the window shades and no shower curtain. I went down and asked for a shower curtain and for the blood to be cleaned up and they did. Then I went to get ice there was not an ice bag in our bucket and the bucket was dirty. I took a big zip locks and continued to get ice. The ice machine did not work, I had to go to three different floors to find one that worked. The elevators do not work right, it will shut on you when you are in the doorway, and it hurts. The breakfast is a joke. I would not stay here ever if I was you.

We got to the hotel that supposedly had a restaurant connected and found out that has been shut down. Went to our room and found stains on the floor, mold on the ceiling and in the bathroom. Not to mention that the whole place smelled musty. One member of my family chose not to even take a shower at this hotel even after driving in a vehicle for several hours. Overall bad experience.

rience at this hotel was horrible. The phone was NASTY!!! and to use the phone I had to cover it up like it was a pay phone, the hotel had no clean towels, and the shower did not work properly. To top it off the POWER went out. The only thing that this hotel is good for is a dip in the pool on a hot day then go home afterward. As an out of town guest I would not recommend this hotel and as a resident, I suggest you go somewhere else. It was late, and I did not want to take my kids back out on the road after traveling 12hrs.

I never did make to my room after seeing the parking lot landscaping and the disgusting looking lobby I knew I didn't want to see a room. So I just took my booking as a loss and went somewhere else. This hotel should be condemned ASAP. Only a homeless person would probably find satisfaction staying there

The worse hotel in the worst area.. we pulled up to only 2 other cars in parking lot with 3 homeless people smoking.. the smell by the elevator smells like someone died. The elevator and hallways are straight from a scary film... Room had to pull handle out of wall practically to turn on shower.. multiple bugs by window... wallpaper was cracked and pealing away from walls everywhere.. left this hotel to stay somewhere clean and safe...

Had to change room 3 times, first room TV didn't work and toilet was dirty. Second room the floor was soaked because of leaking air conditioner. Third room was ok. The pics online did not match the actual hotel. The staff was great and helped find us a better room without hesitation.

DON'T STAY HERE!
I would not stay at this hotel again, and would definitely discourage anyone from doing so. Hotel claimed to be completely booked, but there appeared to be vacant rooms that may have been out of order. Public restrooms on ground floor were out of order and stunk as if people had used facilities without flushing. Air conditioning systems were not adequate. Ice machines on different floors were not working. Hotel website shows lounge and restaurant available. Neither was in operation. This was especially disconcerting as Hotel is the only lodging facility in the middle of a warehouse district, and there are no dining nor shopping facilities within walking distance of the hotel. Also, the American GI Forum, a National Hispanic Veterans organization, was having its 68th Annual National Conference at this facility. This was no way to receive and honor Veterans who served honorably in World War II, Korea, Vietnam, Operation Desert Storm, Iraq, and Afghanistan. Totally SAD!

Great hotel for the price! Hotel is pretty run down, you can tell it was a really great property back in its heyday, but it's really been let go. My room however was newly renovated and was absolutely beautiful! Very clean and modern. My room was certainly a surprise compared to the hotel itself.

Dangerous place to stay. Most rooms not habitable. Glass pool door just leaning against the wall not on the track. Exposed electrical wiring. Most amentaties are missing. Not even a toothbrush available at the front desk. Weeds overgrown around entire property. Could be nice if it was torn down and had a new one built in its place.

The hotel does not take cash. We had to go put money back in the bank to stay there. They only take credit cards. The room, and the carpets going to the room had stains on them. There is a weird smell when you are in the halls. The pool was ok and the kids like that. We could see broken windows from our hotel room, and the lake. The breakfast has nothing hot on it. Yogurt, cereal, and muffins. The three ladies got really upset that we opened the gate to the breakfast. Breakfast should be served at 6:30 and it was almost 6:45. We had to get on the road. Also, there are a bunch of rooms but not very many people were staying here.

Nice view of the Water. Close to downtown. Quiet
I recently stayed here when the hotel was called the Ramada. I feel like the hotel has gone downhill a bit. On the other hand, I really liked how they had free breakfast. The pool was an outdoor and indoor pool. The first floor was all wet and smelled very bad. (Glad we didn't stay on the first floor). Our room on the 6th floor was nice. NO BEDBUGS! The rooms are nice and big and comfortable beds. I really suggest they remodel the inside and outdoor space. The hotel would look more appealing. The price is what you get. The Staff here is very nice and let us check in early! Overall it was a good stay.
