This was a last minute change. I had a room booked quite a distance from where I was working. The Argosy was much closer and the manager of the location said I would no be disappointed. I canceled my reservation and booked a room at the Argosy. The room was clean, spacious and modern. The bed was comfortable and pillows soft. The shower was amazing - lots of room; having both a traditional shower head and rain shower head. The fitness center was very well equiped and modern.

Our visit to KC was a mix of seeing family and a Chiefs game. Had a awesome time! The hotel is close to so many great places to eat and close to Arrowhead. We used the valet for our rental. When we called they had it right away. Used their included car service, very convenient for our night out.

My husband came with me this time and was very reluctant to have a massage.
He was very pleased and we have already booked our reservations for New Year's Eve to stay for a couple of days.
He will be having another massage during that visit as well..
Thanks for great service.

My boyfriend and I stayed for one night in the Seville room (beautiful!) last week for our 2nd anniversary. I was afraid that the rooms would be cramped because of the pictures I saw on the website, but our room was perfect! The jacuzzi is huge, as well as the bed. We got a couples massage and that is the only part of our stay that was sub par...the ambiance was lacking. It stayed pretty bright in the room, my masseuse burped at one point, it felt a little rushed, and one of the masseuses kept calling us "kiddos." Sure, we're young (early to mid-20s), but we deserve the same respect anyone else at the hotel does, not someone being condescending. We took the shuttle to the Legends, which was great not having to drive, and then we went to the wine bar. Beau the bartender was awesome! He was funny, interacted with all of the guests really well, and stayed open until the last guest left. Overall the hotel was wonderful, the front desk staff was welcoming, and I am recommending it to friends for a romantic getaway. The reviews that I have seen that were negative looked like they were from people who did NOT do their research on this place. Guys, this is not your average Holiday Inn! It has a cozy, romantic B & B feel, so yeah it may look a little worn, but the character of this place is astounding! Very homey. We definitely plan on coming back!

Hotel staff made us feel right at home when we arrived. Got up to the room and it was very clean and tidy. We were on the 8th floor and could see the Missouri river out our patio. The casino was fabulous! And when we went to bed for the night, it was peaceful. No rude or loud neighbors to wake us up. Lol I will definitely return to this hotel again! :)
