“Very Pleased. Would use again without hesitation.”
Well maintained, aggressively hospitable staff, even when an unexpected event closed the dining room for hours. We were very pleased with this experience. Location is a definite plus for KC activities when visiting from the southwest.

On business and just need a comfortable, clean, quiet room near the Interstate. Not a 'Destination Location' for a family on holiday, but just fine for what I was looking for.

Clean and comfortable bed, great room service, wonderful restaurant on site, multilingual helpful staff. Would defenetly stay there again. This was my 4th stay with this hotel.
“Has this property been flooded?”
Overall, the hotel was very nice. However, a musty smell overrode the entire experience - in the lobby and in our room. Our room felt damp, even though the A/C was on.

“beware the "garden tub"”
I made reservations with plenty of advance notice. This was a business trip. Upon arrival, I was told they only had one room left and so sorry, but not 2 beds as requested. Also they mentioned that it had a "garden tub with jets." They gave us a key to the room and as we walked down the hall just past the two large meeting rooms - with loud meetings going on, we found our room - it adjoined the large conference room next door - the one with the loud meeting! Did I say adjoined? It was the only room on that hallway - except the conference rooms. The "garden tub" was a square tub with NO SHOWER. I went down to the front desk and ask them to find me another room at another holiday in the city. they miraculously found one at their same hotel. Why didn't they give it to me first instead of telling me they only had one available???
“Defeinatly not what it looked like in the pictures”
Upon arriving, the desk lost our information about breakfast. Then once Expedia cleared it up they gave us a coupon for 20$ off breakfast, but with my husband and our 2 kids, that did not cover the cost. The room appeared to be clean, until you really looked at it. The shower had a black ring around the tub and what appeared to be men's body hair all over. The swimming pool said indoor/outdoor, but it was all outdoor. The indoor part was still open, just had a roof over it. The pool had cigarette butts laying all around it, a dirty towel at the bottom of the pool, that remand there the whole stay. They allowed kids to ride their bicycle around the pool area. The allowed a group of about 50 people to throw a party in the parking lot. While my husband was outside smoking, he saw a drug dog coming into the hotel. We also needed to use the washer and dryer, but there was not one in our building, I had to walk over to the other building, but doing so I had to cross over in the middle of the drinking party in the parking lot. Needless to say I did not wash my clothes. The restaurant was terrible, and the service was just as bad. When we picked this hotel, we thought by paying more money for the room, we would get a better place, not even close. We love Holiday Inn, but this one will not be one of our choices again
