“Affordable Stay in the Kamloops Area”
Overall we were happy with our stay. The room was clean, and quiet. I was in the area for medical reasons so it was nice to have peace and quiet. The room was basic but included all amenties to ensure a comfortable stay. The staff at check in and out were extrememly helpful and accomodating. The location was a little out of the way, but not so much that it was an inconvienience. A great stay at a great price!
“Perfect traveler's stop”
We just needed a place to sleep on our way to eastern BC, and this hotel was a good value and right off the highway on the east side of Kamloops. I was also very pleased that the breakfast was available right at 7am, as advertised, even though we were leaving on New Years Day.
“Great stopping off motel. No frills but convenient and comfortable,”
People were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was served early so had no wait time to get back onto the highway.
“Economical”
This is an older motel. The price was right and the room was very comfortable. The property was clean and quiet. The location is fine for just passing through town but not very convenient to anything. The front desk clerk and the housekeeper were both very helpful and knowledgable of the area.
“You get what you pay for!!”
The guy at the front desk was friendly and very helpful. All I have to say about the room is, you get what you pay for!!
“Very noisy location!”
While a reasonable price this motel is alongside the TransCanada Highway and the main East West railway line. Large trucks and trains pass by constantly and this noise along with noisy older airconditioner units caused me to sleep with earplugs both nights of my stay. The closest restaurants are approx 2 kms away. This motel is definitely on the lower price range but if a person is willing to overlook the traffic noise and is only looking to stay overnight I would stay there again.
“OK place for a might”
OK hotel. Everything in the room is quite old and desperately needs a refresh. Bed was comfortable and everything was clean.
“You get what you pay for”
Our family of four stayed here on our way to Vancouver. The location right off the highway was extremely convenient...if you could handle the trains going by your room about 100 feet away all night. That, combined with the loud party going on the parking lot right outside our door (and it was quite a party, judging from the bottle of Canadian Club we found next the next morning on our doorstep), meant that none of us had a good night's sleep. Breakfast was quite minimal and there is no separate area to sit down and eat. Coffee, juice and pastries are set out on a counter next to the front desk. We ended up eating at the Tim Horton's down the road. I found the front staff helpful, although my husband went to ask someone to come to our room to look at something and no one ever showed up. Our kids did have a fun time in the pool, and to be honest, I wasn't expecting much for the price. We just needed something basic for overnight and it fit that bill.
“Lower than a motel 6”
It was less than Motel 6 quality. Clean but a bit run down and not real friendly.
“Economical Stay.”
The bathroom was rather small but the beds were very comfortable. Even though it was a bit outdated, the price made up for any deficiencies. The service was very friendly and accommodating.
