it's a OK motel, but a little noisy.Posted 20-Oct-2014
we stayed for one night this summer. It provides breakfast which is convenient for people on the road. The disappointing thing is it's noisy because it just off the high way.

Pros: The fan works good so it allows for a quiet sleep.
When I booked I did not think the room would be that tiny and the smallest bathroom ever of any motel I have stayed at. There was a smoke smell in room and I asked for an 8 am wake up call and I even said I have been let down before directly to clerk and to please make sure and 9 am came along and no call so we missed breakfast as done at 9 so was not too pleased with my stay. Ice bucket super tiny, fridge super tiny, everything tiny, (tv too), and close quarters. Sleep factor okay but train is very close by but that does not bother me. When I booked too I asked for two queen beds and they messed that up but luckily not over busy so was able to get a switch.

Good valuePosted 18-Sep-2014
Pros: Close to the TransCanada, ample parking, very convenient. Clean and good free breakfast.
Location: Very handy to the TransCanada Highway and ample parking so this is a great stop for long haul truckers like myself.
We had a late arrival so didn't utilize much of the facility but the room was clean and comfortable.

Cons: Overall décor, room condition. All needs to be refreshed.
Basic, decent accommodation. Dated but clean and serviceable. Staff were efficient and very good.

Horrible! Don't believe the online pictures.Posted 18-Aug-2014
Location: No restaurants or shops nearby. Driving required to get to anything.
Based on the pictures online I was led to believe that although an older property it was well kept and updated. I WAS WRONG!! The finish on the side tables and TV cabinet were worn down to the wood (particle board), I attempted to open the TV cabinet and the door fell off and the queen bed I requested turned out to be a double mattress on a queen box spring. When I asked to be moved to another room I was told there were none available. The best thing I could say about this place was the staff was friendly even when faced with a less than happy guest!

Quick overnightPosted 4-Aug-2014
Just stopping on the way home. Rooms weren't all that clean. Outdoor pool was a joke. Continental breakfast room was scary and we opted for Tim Hortons.

Rooms not cleanPosted 28-Jul-2014
Pros: Outdoor pool was great for the kids after a long day of driving.
Cons: Room cleaniless and keeping the breakfast stocked.
Our room wasn't clean - visible hair in bathtub and on and around toilet. Asked to be moved, every other room was the same or worse. Definitely our first and last time at the hotel. Not worth the $100. There are many other hotels in that price range that can, at the minimum, clean the bathrooms and vacuum the rooms.

The room had old dirty cloths in shower, yurin on toilet seat and breakfast area was dirty. Below standard quality. Walking past laundry room had concerns of health violations.
