“Good for a night”

The continental breakfast at this hotel is very poor. There is only enough seating for about 20 people and you are sitting on top of other people, not very good. They had also messed up on our reservation. I had my computer print out with me, as they first told me i had the date wrong, and wasn't suppossed to be there until the next day. The rooms are very nice, good beds, nice TV. However, no tea bags, only coffee in the room. The showerheads are set very low, and a person of nomral height will have trouble with these, it seems to be designed for very short people. It's good tostop as you are travelling through, but I wouldn't stay more than a night here.

“Not impressed”

The hotel is by the hwy so if your room is facing hwy, all you can see are passing cars and noise. I requested room with riverview and didn't get it even though I was told we will get a room next day. After being told two mornings that I would get requested room next day, I quit. Patio by the river is very nice, we enjoyed having breakfast by the river.

“Not what we expected, but okay”

Based on the website we expected this hotel to be bigger and a little nicer than it was. The room was smaller than we expected and we were traveling with our little one which was a bit tricky. It was clean and fairly well taken care of. The breakfast was okay - not a lot to choose from and everything was warm - not hot or cold.

“Was ok”

The room was newly updated and very clean. The beds were comfortable. We had our 8 month old daughter with us and with a bit of furniture moving we could fit her play pen no problem. The included continental breakfast was not great. Some toast, cereal and muffins. No fruit. Coffee was pretty good though! We wouldn't stay here again, but just because there are so many other places to stay in Kamploops. Otherwise, it was just fine.

“Not the best for the money”

The room was plain and the bathroom small. Light and sound came in under the door. As well, the mattress on the bed was too hard and the A/C so loud we just used the fan only setting. The location is convenient and setting is reasonable next to the river. There is an excellent restaurant just next door. Overall not great value for the money.

“Just a fixed up roadside motel”

I always used to stay at the Sheraton 4 Points in Kamloops and thought it was fine. When I checked on tripadvisor and saw it was rated#19(!!!)I was shocked. So I booked into the Riverland Inn because it was rated #1(again!!). I should have been suspicious when there were no photos etc. Anyway, to my disappointment I found it was just another tired old roadside motel typical of East Kamloops. I admit they did a good job of renovating the rooms with paint and newer furniture. However, you can't hide the old layout and rattling under-window aircon unit that makes sleep impossible. The staff/owners were friendly and pleasant, but there is no comparison to the Sheraton and it's comfort for roughly the same $$.
