“Impressed!”

Very impressed with comfort, space and condition for a dorm room. If you just need a place to sleep with no frills, would definitely recommend it. Very clean, well kept building. Beautiful view. T.v., full size fridge and microwave in room. Spacious shower.

“Great views, functional, lean but priced great”

Hidden gem really, as it is a uni res it is plain, functional and oddly clean. No frat house here. I'd recommend it, and I'll book here again. AND the two rooms suite was perfect for my wild triplets and their big sister!

“Too bad only for July-Aug”

I drove from/to Calgary/Vancouver and want to take it easy so we stopped at Kamloops overnight and stayed in TRUR, it is very clean and comfortable. We had a 2 bedroom suite the first night and on our return a 4 bedroom suite; for 4 adults it was very roomy and comfortable. The price was reasonable, highly recommend it.

“Great Value”

We are a family of 6 so finding a hotel room for all of us at a reasonable rate is tough to find. Tried the Thompson Rivers Residence as we were passing through Kamloops on our way home. Room was very clean and ready for us when we arrived. We booked the 4 bedroom suite through Expedia for a very reasonable price. Double beds in all of the bedrooms and two bathrooms, each containing toilet, sink and shower. Fridge, microwave, and sink in common area. Continental breakfast was included but limited to toast and cereal. Parking pass was also provided for our vehicle and cargo trailer. Very quite with a great view of the river valley. Would definitely stay again.

“Good Value, Clean & Very Friendly - perfect stop over place for a journey!”

The place was a little hard to find initially but once we arrived we recieved a warm welcome from the man on the front desk! The room was very modern, clean, neat and tidy - not hotel luxury but very comfortable. Continental breakfast was simple but fresh and tasty and there is plenty to eat. Very good value, would recommend to anyone who wants a clean friendly economical stay for the night!

“not romantic but great for groups”

Set up like dorms: bedrooms open up to shared kitchenette and bath. Great for families or groups traveling together but wanting some privacy. Much cheaper than multiple rooms. Patio area out back of hotel has amazing view ot river gorge.

“Kamloops Hotel”

Dont bother looking for another place to stay at Kamloops. This was perfect. Even more so for our family of 5 adults and 3 kids. The place was clean and comfortable, and they give you a decent continental breakfast to get started on your next day's drive. I am glad I chose this place.

“A clean dorm”

It was actually a student dorm, rather than a hotel, but to stay for a night lacked nothing. it had 2 bedrooms so comfortable for us travelling with mother in law. Close to walmart and had macrowave and fridge. overall comfortable.

“Cannot be beat for the price, would visit again”

We were looking for a place for 5 of us to stay for one night on the way from Vancouver to the Interior. All other hotels would not allow us to have 5 people in a room. We found this place, a 4 bedroom room, for a great price. It was a bit hard to find because the signage isn't that great but the rooms were clean and the staff were friendly. The rooms definitely had more of a dorm-room than hotel-room feel but it was perfect for us. Definitely would stay here again for a night or two. Breakfast was included and was basic, cereal and toast, not much more. For the price, I would recommend this place to anyone travelling through or even visiting Kamloops.
