We stayed in the 1 bedroom villa. Although it is located close to the beach, the view from our bedroom is still beautiful. Both the private and public infinity pools are very nice. The hotel staff are very friendly and they promptly delivered what we requested to our villa. Breakfast in the morning was great too. Good variety of food and they changed the items every day in our 3-day of stay there. I would definitely come back and stay again, hopefully in a villa higher up the hill.

The honeymoon suite is really value for money. The room has a big balcony with jacuzzi facing the sea. Except for ants found near the minibar area snd balcony, the room is basically clean and well kept.
The buffet spread is quite limited and does not offer fresh juice. All the juices are not freshly squeezed.
I booked Ayara Kamala Resort because the room and views looked excellent on the website. It was indeed just as beautiful in reality. The view of the sea is stunning and the rooms are decorated very well with attention to detail. It is the perfect place for a quiet holiday.
We booked this hotel for a wedding group, although actual wedding was held at another hotel. We were absolutely happy with our choice. The best part of everyone's stay at the hotel was their customer service. The manager, Phil, was super helpful, and very accommodating: they provided extra beds for one night for free, they would keep kitchen open past closing time for our guests, they would negotiate tour prices with companies and lower them for us, you name it.
The breakfast quality wasn't great and coffee tasted a bit like burnt coffee, but dinner was very good. I definitely recommend this hotel considering the price and customer service they offered.
This was a great place to stay for somewhere a bit quieter on Phuket. We had a pool side room which was so handy just ducking back and forth as spent most days at the pool. The staff gave us a map of the local area (Kamala) however there were no distances on it. We made the mistake of deciding to walk to the supermarket with a pram. It was extremely hot and a long way and we would not have attempted it if we had known how far it was but thought that it couldn't be that far or the hotel would not have it on the local map - suggest the hotel add distances to the map. Otherwise staff were very friendly and helpful and room was very comfortable.
Between narrow tourist street and beach - you can watch the world go by over breakfast, lunch or dinner and walk out the back straight on to the beach. Family run by locals. Simple but clean rooms. Perfect if you want to avoid large chain hotels.

This fishing village is located just north of Patong Beach in an enclosed bay surrounded by forest hills. Known as one of the most beautiful and relaxed beaches in Phuket, the area’s secluded white sandy beaches offer eateries from beachfront hotels and local restaurants. Water sports such as paragliding, jet skiing, and surfing are some of the main recreational activities offered at Kamala Beach. Additionally, beachside bars offer perfect sundowners. Kamala is home to Phuket Fantasea, a multimillion Baht Thai cultural extravaganza with nightly shows.
