Aloha Amanda, We're so glad you had a relaxing stay at our Casa Kona condo and enjoyed its cleanliness, spaciousness, and the property grounds and pools. Our spectacular oceanfront saltwater pool is always a guest favorite and an amenity unique to our complex! Hawaii is a tropical climate, and being directly on the ocean it is humid at times. The central AC system cools the entire complex and maintains a nice cool temperature inside if the doors and windows are kept shut. Most condominiums in Kona don't have AC. We were dissapointed to hear after you checked out, that you had noticed a damp smell in a particular area of the master bedroom. We discovered the source of the smell--it was the upholstered desk chair. The seat had a damp smell, so we removed the chair. Luckily we were able to have it reupholstered in time for our next guests. Mahalo, Brent

Our unit is the largest floorplan in our complex and has a full-size kitchen with a large assortment of pots, pans, baking dishes and utensils to make it easy for guests to prepare meals at home. We are close to Keauhou Bay, which is the starting point for many snorkeling, scuba and other boating activities, and highway access is also super easy to get to anywhere on the island. Within our complex, our unit is one of the furthest from the street and closest to the ocean, with peaceful and relaxing surroundings. We agree it's the perfect location for a Big Island vacation!
