Triple Room Standard is for maximun three persons and is a room with one bedroom, separate living area, complete kitchen and air condition. Quadruple Room is for maximun four persons and is a big room with one bedroom, separate living area, complete kitchen and air condition. Televisions come with cable channels. In-room safes are provided. Accommodations at this 3.0-star property have kitchenettes with refrigerators, cookware/dishes/utensils, and coffee/tea makers. Bathrooms include shower, bidets, and complimentary toiletries. Separate sitting areas and air conditioning are also included. Hair dryers, extra towels/bedding, and wake-up calls can be requested. “No complaints”
Plaza Real is very nice if you just want to relax and stay away from all the madness. The hotel staff is very friendly. There is a beach across the street which is open to the public.
“Lovely stay”
to get the real feel of the DR I suggest you stay here with meager to moderate accommodations this is the place to stay in Juan Dolio. The staff is friendly and quick to help ,the owner is down to earth, the site is beautiful and right in front of the beach. If you want to live like a prince and are high maintenance, this is not the hotel for you. For a nice price a nice lady will wash you clothes. The Beach is literally right in front of you and beautiful. This is a great hotel if you want to explore the DR and not pay for all of your meals, drinks, etc..at the hotel. I would only stay here and not bother to go to an all inclusive resort...some don't want you to leave and try to scare you not to venture out..Plaza Real does no such thing.

“It was exceptional”
The service was excelent even the weather was not good but the atmosphere was so good that I will never forget my tay in this place. It's ideal for a single man, the bar, the music, the booze the food and the girls. you have to understand it's not 5 stars but the ambiamce is so relax and if you have a chance to talk to Glen (the bar manager) please do, he is one of the nices guy to talk to (When is not busy fixing the freege or the music) but above all it's a place to wind down and I can say go ahead and you will have a ball. I will go back there anytime.
“Wonderful place in the Dominican Republic”
This is a fantastic place, so close to the beach, yet far from the noise of the overcrowdedness of the beach-hotel itself. The service is just great! and the place is not overcrowded like other hotels, everything in the plaza is still only a 4 minute walk away, so there is that. If you want a quiet place, where everyone seems welcoming and friendly, this is the place. definitely.
“Wonderful place feels like home”
At Plaza Real you feel at home. Its not luxurious but its relaxing, and the employees are friendly, hardworking and there for you. I truly recommend it for anyone. You have shops restaurants and a 10 minute walk to public transportation. or you can take a motorcycle (motoconcho) or cab for under a buck to the bus. The room is equiped with airconditioner, ceiling fan and a kitchen. with a stove refridgerator and utensils, plates,cups, perculator to make coffe , towels, soap and a comfortable bed.
“Great experience! Hotel offers great service workers! Seek out Evelyn and Rafael”
Very good experience. If you travel here speaking to Rafael and his wife Evelyn is a must. They will show you everything you need to see and take you where you need to go for a reasonable fee. You can feel very safe with them as they are very comfortable to be around and speak perfect english. I highly reccomend this hotel solely because of them but taking it a step further the accomodations are nice and more than you could expect for the price. All in all this was a great experience. Thanks Rafael and Evelyn for all your help!
“Great winter vacation in Juan Dolio”
Excellent Hotel. Its small and service is very friendly and personal. Very clean and witth a great atmosphere. I will stay there again in my next visit to Santo Domingo
“A' Real' Good Experience”
Whilst this hotel is only **1/2 with regards to the staff and maintenace of the same I would say it is at least ****. My mother and I recently stayed at this hotel for 3 weeks, and whilst my spanish was non-existence, my mother's very basic but not fluent and all the staff spoke very little English, everyone was very cheerful and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. From the receptionist, handy men, porters and cleaners I just can't speak highly enough. Our room was cleaned daily, bed linen and towels changed changed at least thrre times a week.
