Recreation
The majority of on-site recreational activities and facilities described below are included in the room rate for this resort (scroll up to the All-Inclusive details section for more information).
A busy schedule of activities: classes, games, and competitions such as kayak racing keeps mornings and afternoons lively. Three clay tennis courts can be booked for either day or night play. An attendant is always available to help out with cardio or weight equipment in the fitness center. Complimentary water sports include kayaking, sailing, and windsurfing. Snorkeling excursions; scuba diving courses, certification, trips; and motorized water sports can be arranged (surcharges for all).
Hotel staff can help golfers arrange tee times at the Guavaberry Golf & Country Club five km (three mi) from the hotel. Golf games, including greens fees and equipment rentals, incur surcharges.

“BOOKING ANOTHER TRIP ALREADY”
the hotel environment was friendly and inviting. the food & drinks was excellent .the beach nice & peaceful. casino had alot of fun at the poker table & blackjack tables .The staff i give them a 10.
“A little paradise in the tropics”
A charming hotel with great service, friendly staff, a great food. The beach is excellent, as are the pools. Maintenance is excellent, and your slightest request is promptly handled. For those looking for a nice place to stay and enjoy the sun and fun of the Dominican Republic, this is the place.
“Best Bang for your Buck!”
This hotel was the perfect choice for my boyfriend and I on a "winter getaway". The hotel is a little outdated in the rooms (we chose the cheapest room in order to have more money to spend on activities) because honestly, how much time do you really need to spend indoors at a resort right on the beach? Check-In was a little rough, we booked a room with a king bed and the first night, we were placed in a room that had 2 fulls. They told us they didnt have any king rooms available that night and to come back tomorrow around check-in time (we arrived late, around 10:30pm). The next day, they showed us a new room with a king bed, but it was further away than our room in the main building, so we decided to keep our current room, until we got back and noticed that the ceiling above the toilet was pouring water into our bathroom and had flooded it into our sleeping quarters. The staff was very nice and cooperative and offered us a new room in the same building on the 5th floor, so this time we had an ocean view. The food was good, no complaints at all. The beach is enclosed by a rock wall (reef) so the waters are tranquil and crystal clear. Overall, we had a great time and cannot wait to go back again!
“Would return again”
The hotel was pleasant, the food was excellent and the staff was very nice. The only complaint that me and my family had was that the hot water would not get hot and we had to take cold showers. Overall our stay was worthwhile.
“Planning a trip back.”
It was a wonderful trip that I took with my 18 yr old daughter. Plenty of things to do in the resort. Lots of good food and drinks. Very clean rooms and very friendly staff. We were greeted everywhere we went. I enjoyed shopping on the beach since it gave me more time in the sun. This is definitely well worth the money.
“can't wait to bring my family there”
hotel was good, but checking was very slow. enjoyed seven nights at the resort on our honeymoon. staff was excellent cator to our every need. the night shows were expectacular never boring. drinks were very good presidente beer was delicious.i never got bored.i look foward to coming back to this resort with the rest of my family for our summer vacation.
“Very Nice!”
This hotel was perfect! We were there for a 4 night stay and we had a wonderful time. I would love to go back and I would definitely recommend it to all. The food was good, especialy at the Dominican Restaurant, the entertainment was fun, the disco was happening on Sat night, and the beach was perfect! Take some extra dollar bills for tips and it definitely gets you greater attention and service. What else can you ask for...if you want 5 stars then you need to pay the 5 star price.

i absolutely love this little hotel! the staff is amazing and will bend over backwards for you. it is definitely not a five star hotel; but if you're looking for five star service you will receive it here. the rooms & the hotel itself is a little old and run down but you're not paying very much for it. we lucked out on a room with good water pressure & hot water! woo! the beds where ok. the food was really good; especially the omlettes in the morning & the mexican resturant. the drinks are plentiful and always delicious. try asking the bartenders for their specialty, don't believe the bad reviews; take a chance and try it out. you'll love it. going back for my third time in nov. happy holiday hunting!
