Best breakfast
Room was clean and comfortable. Bed a little too firm for my liking but was told they can provide a mattress topper at no charge next time. They have a new breakfast assortment, best ever I've had at any Holiday Inn in SA.

Great friendly service. Breakfast was good. Wifi worked perfectly. Also enjoyed a lovely dinner at the restaurant downstairs. As this hotel is in a business park, there is not much of a choice for restaurants, but I was not disappointed by the one on the property. The only thing I found uncomfortable was the firm bed, but my personal preference is plush to mid, so it was a little hard to sleep on.

Excellent customer service
We were in Johannesburg to help settle my son who relocated there for work. He just completed his degree in December 2021. The experience at this establishment made setting him down easy. Quite emotional to say goodbye to my baby, 22 years old , but at least we had no worries where we slept for the night. We had my daughters, physically challenged and in a wheelchair with us, and she loved her stay at the holiday Inn Express. Really well trained, respectful staff, from cleaning team to dining room, maintenance team, front of house. I have no negatives. I have recommended this establishment to family, and my brother joined me on the Friday night. Thank you, God bless

We had a wonderful stay. Everything was neat and clean. There are no cupboards so if you are staying for a long period of time it is abit more difficult. The room unfortunately does not have a main light so it was difficult at night time. However, our overall stay was really nice. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

Terrible! Repeatedly locked out of the room and have to get the cards reset EVERY SINGLE TIME we needed to get into the room. Staff (NK, Mpho, Kelly) were dismissive about this ongoing issue. They instead were more interested in overcharging the room and also asking for payments for other accounts. What a scam!

Perfect for our 2 night stopover
Close to Mall of Africa and Woodmead shops it was clean, convenient and did the trick for our 2 nights. Breakfast was nice and had all the buffet basics.
