“Not as bad as some say”

Jessup is out in the middle of nowhere, next to a large food warehouse and parking lots filled with semi trailers. But the hotel itself is perfectly fine. The rooms were clean, and there was hot water and the heat worked (essential given how cold it was in DC that week). Is it elegant? No, it's pretty basic. But if you're looking for a cheap hotel in the Washington DC area (and you have your own transprtation), there are worse places to stay.

“shaking in the knees”

I never knew that a hotel could be this ghetto!!! We were so scared we were going to be robbed.

“Not the best”

This hotel was sufficient to sleep and get ready in the morning, if you're looking for any more I wouldn't suggest this hotel. Neither the lamps nor the television worked, and the rooms were very small. The walls were half painted, and the halls smelled of strong paint fumes. The fire alarm went off around 1am, there was no direction in the lobby as to what we were to do. We had to guess when it was safe to re-enter the building. This hotel is also connected to a truck stop, the check-in desk doubles as the travel store check out location. It wasn't the worst hotel I could imagine, but I wouldn't recommend it.

“Basic lodging for truckers”

This is a very basic, truck-stop type lodging. The room was clean but with no amenities, not even a box of tissues in the room.

“I tried to economize for a change.”

If it's the best you can do, be prepared to have items in hand for a short stay. Lysol, bleach, sheets, blankets, pillows and mace. After visiting the second room and noticing that that bathroom too was had not been cleaned in a couple days, we opted out of our reservation. Management was gracious when asked for a refund. They were cooperative and told Expedia that we did not stay there and I got a full refund through expedia. That was the brightess part of the trip.

“Smelly”

The only thing I can say good about this hotel is the lady that was there to clean was very nice,this hotel rents to monthly peopleso there for they played a boom box load all night long we told the manager and he said something to them but when he left the music when back up,we did not let them clean our room because we were afraid the sheets we got back would be worse than the ones we already had,the towels and wash clothes were stained it was bad.Carpet in hall had stains looked like blood

“truck stop”

when i checked in a truck driver was asking the desk person about some prostitutes that was staying on one of the floors. he wanted to know when they was coming dow so they could make some money. my room was cluttered with furniturethat had no place. the room was dusty. plus there was a dirty towel behind the bathroom door. the bed had springs coming out of it.

“Make sure they give you what you paid for.”

We arrived late at night and person on duty did not speak good English-gave us a single room instead of double that we paid for on line. Said we had not paid for the rooms then tried to get my spouse to pay again(a third time). We weren't the only ones having problems checking in.

“stay away”

do not go to this hotel it is very very dirty and rooms are small and very dirty and the halls smell.
