“Good Hotel - Convenient Location”
This is a solid 5* hotel with all the comforts and facilities you would expect from this kind of establishment. It's very conveniently located (just 15 min walking from the old city) with a lovely pool and good breakfast). Only negative thing: it lacks in character and atmosphere, it's a bit impersonal. But it's the perfect choice if you're american and over 65 (we were by far the youngest people there!).
“Can't wait to go back”
Excellent location. Very polite and helpful staff. Breakfast good although if seated outside you have to watch out for birds and crows!
“Wonderful Hotel Spa for the Money”
The Inbal is about comfort and international business hotel character at a very good price, indeed it is the best in its price point in Jerusalem in my experience. This is not the place to go if you want a hotel with special local character, like arched windows and stone inner walls, or inspiring panoramas. But if your aim is modern clean light business class hotel with an attached health club and pool, and spa, then this is a wonderful choice. The pool is open (in summer) very long hours, opening before you can get sun-burned (important to me), and closing at about 9pm. The spa is nothing extraordinary, but offers a basic menu of massages and treatments, well done. There are sauna and steam rooms, and a very very good gym. They have enough facilities in the business centre, moderately priced, to handle most office needs. Some of the hotel shops also offer interesting stuff, above the usual trite tourest bric-a-brac, I saw some genuinely artsy things on offer. One challenge to a otherwise perfect level of service is the tendency of the lobby bar and cafe to quit serving warm at 10.00 pm, which is really not such a great thing for people who go out to concerts or at Mamilla, to name a few, and wish to return to the hotel for a snack or meal and relax. Regarding the clientele, they have a nice class of customer. And very highly welcome is the quiet and cleanliness. Overall, a great experience.
“Très satisfait”
Bien situé dans la ville; personnel de qualité; tous les services disponibles (par ex: internet wifi);
“One of the Best”
We traveled all around Israel and found this to be one of the best hotels we stayed it. It is within walking distance of the Old City as well as the shopping area where all the restaurants are. You get large hotel comforts and amenities with the feeling of a smaller more intimate hotel. The hotel is clean and the service great. We would definitely stay there again.
“Jerusalem's best Hotel”
Excellent Hotel. Staff well trained and polite. Friday ( Shabbat night) meal at table service. Cannot be bothered with the scrum at a buffet service with 400+ people experienced at other top hotel stayed in the past. Keep on staying at Inbal beats the other in every way. Quiet location with less traffic fumes. Enjoyable easy walk to Old City, great views and shops.
“Five-star luxury at three-star prices!”
'The best hotel in Jerusalem' is their proud boast (displayed on signs everywhere), so expectations run high. In most respects, they live up to this self-awarded accolade. The rooms (certainly the superior ones) are spacious, well furnished with generous wardrobe and drawer-space, a seating area, flat-screen TV, a large bathroom but, oddly, no coffee/tea-making facilities (something which you would find in the humblest B&B in the UK). They are justly proud of their buffet breakfasts which are gargantuan and show how wonderfully varied kosher food can be (dozens of varieties of fish, cheese, pastries etc). The staff are well-trained, efficient and courteous. The public areas are spacious and relaxing and the all-the-year-round covered swimming pool is a real bonus. The location is excellent, with a pleasant 15 minute walk though the park to the Jaffa Gate. The best hotel in Jerusalem? Who knows? It is certainly the best value five-star hotel anywhere in our experience, especially if you shop around for discount low-season offers (through Expedia of course!)
