“Too good to be a budget hotel”
We really enjoyed our stay at Bayit Katan BeBakah. It was relatively inexpensive, so the accommodations were good, but not luxurious. We were only disappointed because we reserved a queen bed and got two twins. By the second portion of our stay, they resolved the problem. The rooms are not large, but they have comfortable beds and good air conditioning (a must in that part of the world!) We liked the daily breakfast, which had a great offering of heavier foods as well as fruits and veggies. The fresh-baked rolls were incredible. The one disappointment of breakfast is that it includes free instant coffee, but if you want the real thing you have to pay for it. We were overall quite happy with the hotel and its service. We'd definitely stay there again and encourage others to stay there.
“Super Quality Hotel”
I was extremely happy with this hotel. It's very close to the old city and the tour bus connection. The room was always very clean, including the bathroom and shower. The double bed was comfortable with a firm mattress so no middle of the night backache. A wonderful, all you can eat breakfast is included and was always very good. They have a central refrigerator for storing any sandwiches, etc, you may bring home for Sabbath meals. There is also a post office only 1 1/2 blocks away for shipping home all those things you might buy that don't fit in your suitcase. I always experienced quality service and will certainly stay again on my next trip to Jerusalem.
“Would stay here again.”
This is a very well run small hotel with a lot of charm. The garden is wonderful. The staff is really friendly and helpful. The included breakfast is great. The nighttime restaurant is wonderful and I think, a bargain. The rooms are not large, but they are very clean, quiet and comfortable. The attached bathroom is fine. The hotel is not in the hub of downtown Jerusalem but you could easily get to wherever you wanted to go from here. The hotel is a particularly wonderful place to be on the Sabbath as it is extremely quiet in this section of town then.
“My umteenth visit.”

“Excellent value”
We recently stayed at this hotel for 9 days. It was very comfortable and convenient, although you will need your own transportation to take advantage of the place. Excellent value for the money.
“Great Little Hotel in Jerusalem”
The staff are very friendly and helpful. The walk to the Old City (Jerusalem) is aobut 20 minutres, but it is though a nice neighborhood. so there are things to see on the way. Also, there is a little cafe right next door (Polly) where you can get a bite to eat at a reasonable price.
“A Little House”
Nice place to stay. The walk to Old Town (Walled City) is 35 - 45 Minutes. Lots to see on the way. We could not figure out the bus system. Taxis are convienient, take a card from the front desk that helped. Some nice places to eat not too far away. The hotel resturant was nice and food was good. Next to a dorm but on our visit wa not too loud. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful.
“Very good hotel! The best I stayed in Israel.”
It was very pleasant stay in this hotel. Room was very clean, friendly staff and good breakfast.Good location if you travel with car. Old city you will reach on foot in half an hour. The hotel has wonderful garden restaurant. I had there the biggest Greek salad portion I have ever had. I would say that it was food for 3 persons. Excellent taste. I really recomend this hotel to travellers:))
“The best Little House in Bakah”
This is a really wonderful B&B in Bakah. CLose to bus transportation and in walking distance to some of the best dining in the area. The staf was wonderfully friendly, and extremely helpful! Its a great secret and a great place to stay when visiting the best place on Earth!
“We'd stay there again.”
We enjoyed a Little House in Bakah. It rather had the feeling of a bed and breakfast. The garden where breakfast was available was truly charming. The food provided was good. Our room was small, but very clean. The hotel is in an area where you can walk to a few shops. The whole expereience was wonderful. The staff was helpful and friendly.
