I would recommend spending a little more and going elsewhere, it will definitely be worth it!
The entrance hall was nice, light, clean and airy, despite several broken floor tiles. But everything went downhill from there. The walk to our room was met with a wall of cigarette smoke where we found some employees smoking at the bottom of a set of stairs and the smell permeated the surrounding corridors. The flooring also got worse, with old, damaged and dirty carpets. The room was dark and dingy even with all the lights on, there were yellow stains on the towels, mould in several places in the bathroom and seriously damaged/wonky furniture. One nice thing about the room though was the wallpaper, it had a nice pattern and was glittery. Breakfast the next day was like a cattle market and we were seen to a table with cutlery laid out that looked like it had already been used as the knife and fork were covered in bean juice.
All in all we could not wait to get out of there.
