I liked the location of the hotel to town, and having parking on site was good. The breakfast was very good. I was surprised to have to pay daily to park onsite.

We loved everything about our stay except for the super loud seagulls that would squawk starting at 6 am. Couldn’t sleep after they started going crazy in the morning.

I stayed in this hotel a few months ago and couldn't fault it but on my return recently i felt that the service and food within the restaurant was not to the same high standard i had experienced previously

Great communal areas but we were put in room 30 just above the foyer. You could hear any conversations happening when other guests were standing in the foyer so we didn’t get a great night’s sleep.

We had a 4 - night stay. The room was tidy, but it and the en-suite required updating. No shower mat supplied. No air-con in thd room, so probably not comfortable in a hot summer. The breakfast was good; plenty of choice. Bottles of water were supplied, but only on the 1st night, although iced tap water available from the bar. Not a 4-star hotel, more like 3-star. Would visit again, but only for a short break.

Great hotel on the outskirts of the town centre. Staff are wonderful and atmosphere in the hotel good. You are about a 10 minute walk from the town precinct and bus station. Highly recommended.

Very relaxing location for a long weekend away. Not the most plush hotel but it is fair for its price point. Would stay again.

property was nice needs alot of TLC. some of tile floors need replacing ,twin room beds need moving due to light switches, can be switched on and off by moving pillows while in bed. mirror chipped at the bottom, no usb points , fire door held open by fire extinguisher, windows very drafty, no extractor in bath room ,old shower head

Good location, comfy bed, good food in the bar and restaurant - although not a lot of vegetarian options. The bar staff were brilliantly accommodating and served us even after that had closed up for the night. Shame that the pool wasn’t open when we were there in February. Doesn’t mention that it’s only open from April to September on the Expedia app - at least I didn’t see it and the pool pictures are very prominent so was bit misleading.

Was 5 stars from the moment we entered could not fault a thing. Breakfast was delicious. The room was tasteful and homely with a huge immaculate and airy bathroom. Staff above and beyond very helpful. Restaurant menu plenty of choice and served perfectly felt like we were VIPs Could not recommend this hotel enough great value

The Savoy is a lovely clean and welcoming hotel. Staff were all fantastically helpful and the food was very good. It location is about a 5 minute walk into St Helier and is all flat. I would highly recommend and will be visiting again in the summer.

We stayed for New Years Eve and while we enjoyed our stay were disappointed with the lack of toiletries, do not disturb sign for our room and, ingredients during breakfast service however felt the staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating which improved our experience as the look and cleanliness of the room and communal areas was poor. It wouldn’t put us off staying again as we enjoy staycations and supporting local hospitality but there was a lot of basics missing from our room and the breakfast buffet was below par in comparison to recent previous stays here.

The building was noisy, drunk people drinking at the entrance, rowdy shouting from the bar could be heard throughout the building, loud music and shouting until the bar closed. No bath, decor was tatty, windows covered in pigeons and their mess. The staff were very rude and clearly knew the issues. If you want a nice welcoming, modern, comfortable hotel this is NOT the one! After speaking with locals I found out that this hotel is due to be closed and converted in to residential dwellings, this may have contributed to the lack of care or concerns for guests.

Positive: Very nice hotel. Clean and comfortable room. Negative: Various items for the cooked breakfast buffet had run out and they were very slow to replenish them. The shower screen leaked water onto the bathroom floor. Overall: Good value, nice hotel. I’d stay there again.

We had a smashing stay. Only 2 issues. Heating was set to come on at the wrong times - cold 5 pm but boiling 5 am. Last night (01/12/23) with early flight booked in the morning very noisy till 1200 ish from Christmas parties. Would definitely recommend and hope to return soon

The staff in the Savoy were really exceptionally friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much for them and always went the extra mile when asked for anything. I highly recommend the Savoy Hotel and will be coming back again soon for a longer visit in Jersey.

I would recommend spending a little more and going elsewhere, it will definitely be worth it! The entrance hall was nice, light, clean and airy, despite several broken floor tiles. But everything went downhill from there. The walk to our room was met with a wall of cigarette smoke where we found some employees smoking at the bottom of a set of stairs and the smell permeated the surrounding corridors. The flooring also got worse, with old, damaged and dirty carpets. The room was dark and dingy even with all the lights on, there were yellow stains on the towels, mould in several places in the bathroom and seriously damaged/wonky furniture. One nice thing about the room though was the wallpaper, it had a nice pattern and was glittery. Breakfast the next day was like a cattle market and we were seen to a table with cutlery laid out that looked like it had already been used as the knife and fork were covered in bean juice. All in all we could not wait to get out of there.

Disappointing
Having previously stayed at The Savoy I was looking forward to staying again. However, arriving straight from the airport on a wet and windy evening I was disappointed to be informed that I would need to book a table for dinner but actually the restaurant was closed. It was just a few minutes after 8.30pm and there were quite a number of diners in the restaurant. I was informed I could order room service but the room service menu said that hot food orders finished at 8.30pm. On returning to reception I was informed I could order fish and chips. This was my only option and I was charged £5 for room service. When my meal arrived it had no salt or vinegar. It felt like a very frustrating experience when it would have been so easy just to let me eat in the restaurant.

Nice Modern Hotel - shame about the breakfast staf
This really is a lovely hotel - my only complaints were the pillows were rock hard and flat (bought myself one for the second night) And when I asked about a vegetarian option for breakfast the member of staff was really unhelpful- told me they could do veggies sausages but it would take 20 minutes. This is 2023 not 1990 - it should be a readily available option. But overall a very nice modern hotel in a great location.
