I decided upon this hotel after reading other reviews on the usual travel websites for our anniversary weekend break. The hotel was a wonderful country house full of style and character. We had a superior room which had a four poster bed sitting area and large bathroom and outside terrace with table and sun loungers. Everything was of a high standard and well maintained. We ate in the restaurant every night and the food was excellent and menus varied and it represented good value. Breakfast was a combination of buffet with the main part ordered with the kitchen, a great selection of quality ingredients cooked to perfection. The thing that impressed us most was the staff, right from the cleaner up to the manager. We received a very charming and friendly welcome on our arrival, the restaurant and bar staff were vey friendly, attentive but not overly so and they were all only too happy to help. You were made to feel very wlecome and that nothing was too much trouble and this continued for our whole stay. My wife and I have travelled to many places and are not over fussy or too easily pleased and rarely visit the same plave twice but we would definitely consider returning to Jersey and The Chateau la Chaire.

"Fantastic Hotel, Fantastic Staff, great food......"
We stayed here for 4 days in late October and our first time to Jersey, once we arrived at the Hotel we were made extremely welcome and this continued throughout our stay, I simply cannot praise the staff enough they are excellent and so very helpful.
Our room was gorgeous with it's own little patio area next to the pool, but still private enough to sit out in and relax.
We ate in the restaurant one evening and we had the best steaks we have ever had, the meal was fantastic.
Unfortunately due to one of our children back home being unwell we had to cut our break short but would have loved to have stayed a bit longer.

Through our choice of booking late and a desire to have a Sea View throughout or stay although no room was available for the three nights matching our criteria the Hotel accommodated us by moving us (at no inconvenience to us) each day. This gave us the added benefit of seeing the standards of note one but three rooms (Suites actually).. Standards ranged from Marvellous to great to outstanding!
Staff are friendly and attentive, nothing is too much trouble for this fantastic team.
Food is of a very good standard, we stayed on a B&B basis but we dined one evening and I would have no hesitation in recommending any half board offers.
Breakfast is a combination of cold buffet and hot items fresh from the kitchen, its a wholesome start to your day and enhanced by the view of St Brelade's bay and the hotel's manicured gardens and inviting looking pool.

Having never been to Jersey before it was very much like a blind date as to what the hotel might be like. After research and weighing up the budget for hotel and facilities and board we decided to go to the Revere, St Helier. We were very glad we did as the location is idea for the harbour area an the town for any shopping. The staff are very helpful and polite and the restaurant and food were excellent value for money.
There are a few higher star hotels in the area but this one overall takes some beating.
Would definitely go back

This hotel is right in the centre of st helier. Whilst it does not have sea views it more than makes up for it with the comfort of the room. In respect of size and comfort bed is similar to those in many 5 star hotels. Very attentive service and despite the fact we had an early flight and could not check into our room guest services were very accommodating. Plus point us that there is plenty of parking (suits small cars though as approach very tight) . Spa is ok although small - only 4 people can fit in steam rooms at a time, likewise pool small but fir a weekend away more than sufficient. Only downside - wifi!!! Despite advert using as available connection us so poor unable to browse the net let Zlondon answer e-mails

Hotel located in the centre of St Helier close to all the amenities. Ideal if you want to tour the island by bus as the bus station is immediately below. Spoilt only by the nightclub opposite but if you avoid Friday's & Saturday's or opt for the habour view this can be minimised,
The staff are available 24/7 and made us very welcome. Highly recommended.

Lovely hotel with brilliant views over St Brelades Bay. Although a Christian Hotel none of this was "in your face" we were never asked to join in prayers or service, this all took place in another room without any disturbance to guests who did not wish to participate. Breakfast was very good, staff were excellent, room cleaned every day. Tea/coffee in room, brilliant hairdryer (I want one of them). If there is a down side it was the walk down to the prom, or should I say back up again as there were a lot of steps, but this helped work off any excess food and kept us fit, and plenty of people older than us, and we are in our 60's did these steps on a daily basis. Highly recommend this hotel.
