“Great hotel”
We had a room with a view of the Halasan mountain. The room was comfortable altho we added an extra bed. One disadvantage is that there is no free WIFI in the room, we had to go to the reception lounge area to retrieve our emails. The buffet was delicious and we were surprised that there were abalone too. The Dragon show was spectacular. The Lotte Duty Free shop should open earlier to ensure visitors to shop before they fly off. The limousine bus to the Jeju Int.Airport runs very frequently and just at the doorstep. The concierge were efficient as well. overall we enjoyed our stay there. will definitely return to this hotel again.
“Great Spot”
Big rooms, close to the beach. A 20 minute taxi ride to the city centre, though. Would definaetly go back.
“Great way to see Jejudo”
It is right on the beach and has a good staff that speaks English well. There are several restaurants but I would stick with the Korean and Japanese food both in terms of price and quality. The resort community is secluded but if you want to be by a great beach this is a wonderful choice.
“Earns it's Five Stars, but be prepared to pay”
This hotel is the crown of the Jungmun Resort Area and had just about everything a resort hotel should have. Everything from arrival to checking in to getting to our room went smoothly and the hotel staff was helpful and accommodating along the way. Room had a fully stocked (pay) refrigerator and fully stocked (complimentary) bathroom toiletry articles. There are a number of restaurants on-site, kid's activities areas, outdoor camping and even a private beach house lounge. A duty free shop for international travelers is available, fitness center and a large swimming pool. There is a nightly buffet and Volcano Show that guests can enjoy while finishing dinner. As with the comment in the title, be prepared to pay for everything while you are there. When making reservations, I could see why other hotels in the area were unavailable...let's just say there were a number of foreign nationals at our hotel and seen at every tour place that (I believe) drives up room prices due to unavailability. The Buffet was expensive compared to prices from surrounding restaurants. Daily Internet usage price was very high, but can be offset by using the Internet at the Business Center--30 minutes free every visit and virtually unlimited after normal hours as the Center is open 24 hours. Overall, I would recommend this hotel if only for the experience of a true resort hotel. There were many attractions within walking distance, so bring your walking shoes.
“One of Jeju's best hotels”
Very nice hotel. Unfortunately most people there do not speak English. We were having trouble with room service. They also need to improve their check in service. Our rooms were not ready when we checked in at 4:30pm. Apart from that, it was a very pleasant stay.
“a volcano!”
Great place for a few days rest. The Volcano Buffet will amaze you
“Very nice but be prepared to pay”
Everything about the hotel was beautiful, the landscaping, the building and the volcano/pool. The staff was helpful and we had no problem communicating. If you plan on eating in the one of the onsite restaurants, be prepared to pay a considerable amount for each meal. The cheapest we got out of any meal was breakfast. For 2 people to eat the buffet: 63,000 Wons, which is about a $60 breakfast. And we're just talking the basics, eggs, french toast, fruit. It was good but nothing spectacular. It was all very nice, but expensive to eat. No other complaints. The beach, Jungman Beach, is absolutely beautiful and can be found by taking the paths that lead you down from the hotel. And check out the volcano fountain show from the room balcony every night at 8:30.
“Will visit again”
The hotel well managed and staff are friendly.
“Lotte Hotel, Jeju”
Overall, the hotel appearance was fine. One thing's amiss though, one of the drawer handles were broken the moment we stepped into the room. it's petty I know, but I guess it's a management responsibility to maintain their facilities well. Also, location wise, the hotel was perfect. it would've been better though if they have shuttle buses so the guests could go around the area better.
