Friday December 6th 2019, 17:00KST. Lady in black suit at the check in counter called Misun was toxic. She charges around $50 USD for some random extra charge per person. Alright. Annoying but I will pay. HOWEVER, she completely ignored what we were trying to say or ask. Her attitude was bottom leveled, definitely not what I would expect from a 4 star hotel. I used to love Hyatt Regency and came to this hotel since 10 years ago. After experiencing the HORRIBLE customer service from Misun, I will never return to this hotel. The shore hotel definitely needs to step up their game with their customer service.

The ocean view was amazing. Friendly and helpful staff The concierge helped us with restaurant recommendation. The hotel is clean but a little old. The hotel has a walking pathway that lead you to a great view of the ocean. However, the hotel has a weak AC system. It doesn’t work very well. But overall experience at the hotel was great.

The hotel is located in the most wonderful place, my balcony has views of the beach, incredible views of the horizon, fishing boats and the sea. Balconies are spacious and with two chairs and a table, so the perfect place for sitting and relaxing. I chose a Korean style room as those were the deluxe ones. It was lovely. I had an issue on my first night, with staff being incredibly inflexible, that would not serve me food, in a certain area. However, the staff really did try their best to provide better service and to improve this experience. The outdoor pool is fabulous. I did get food poisoning from the restaurant on my last night, which I think is probably bad luck more than anything.

Easy in and out of the airport though Airport Limo bus ( cost$5 one way and take over an hour). Ocean front room and a short trail to the beach. Airport Limo bus can be taken to the Jeju City.

We stayed at Hyatt for 4 days. The staff was super friendly but not very helpful. My husband did not feel very well in the morning on the third day, so I'd like to grab something to eat for him from the Terrance cafe around 9:30 am. The Terrance cafe only provided coffee to go. I asked the lady if I could also purchase two croissants from the cafe. She said no and explained that they only offered for dining-in, which I could understand because the Deli only opens at 10 am. Then, I asked the lady if I could just pay for the buffet for two persons (for the whole price) and grab two croissants and she said no again. To be frank, I expect the hotel would accommodate the customers' need more than that. For the cleaning service, the trash bin was not cleared on the first day. You will have to ask for robe/cotton swab once you used it on the second day. Other than that, I'm overall satisfy with the clearning service. The ocean view is excellent. The transportation was not convenient if you don't speak Korean. The hotel can only call a cab for you when you go to other places but did not offer to call a taxi for you when you return to the hotel.

The hotel employees were very helpful and friendly. Location was beautiful. This hotel is not a 5 star hotel. If I pay the money that I paid for this hotel in USA I would get better hotel. The bathroom towels smelled wired. They might need to change detergent or dry them well. Because of the smell of the towels, my first impression of the room wasn’t pleasant. The room service menu was very limited. If I go to Jeju again, I will try Lotte or Shilla with paying little more.

Nice location, interesting “Hyatt”-atrium style design. Very attentive restaurant staff. However, showing its age and front desk non receptive to complain about room. Booked “deluxe” room, nowhere described as Korean style. When I explained twice to reception that low and soft bed gave me back pain, they suggested I put some pillows under...for real? No offer to change to a different room, no free service or any comp. Hotel replied to my negative comment about check in that property addressed directly with me...a lie! NOBODY DID.

Spectacular views but not family friendly.
Spectacular views of the ocean and easy access to the beach. Not to crazy about the layout and design of the rooms, but would recommend this hotel as adults only not family friendly.

Good, negatives are forgotten by enjoying Jeju
For the most part it was a good on the outside and common areas, even the rooms with mountain views are wonderful. the rooms themselves are dated and even though they are non smoking rooms there is evidence of previous smokers in the room. Make sure you check the mini bar as soon as you arrive and notify the front desk if anything is missing because they will charge you even if you didn't consume it...same goes for leaving. I travel all over the world and this is the same in most places with a mini bar but here it happened even after we left. Take pictures of the mini bar before you fully check out!! You can use it when you reply to the email they send when they decide to charge you. Other than that the people there are very friendly and accommodating. If you are the type that arrives in the later hours after having an eventful day, be prepared to walk since their parking lot fills up by 9pm and you will have to go to the lot up the hill. The area has plenty of things to do... if you like tourist traps, there is a "Ripley's believe it or not"...if you like the outdoors there is a set of waterfalls 4 min away...not to mention all the other activities in Jeju! The restaurants near the hotel are typical Korean restaurants catered to foreigners (and a McDonald's for those that don't like to venture too much). We like going to the street restaurants/markets and there is plenty of that 15 min away in downtown Seogwipo. Enjoy!!

Jeju in general is so nice if you stay on street :). The hotel was nice and staff are very helpful as I experienced all Korean are very nice people. The food is so good. However, the hotel is a bit expensive.

I think that the Hyatt Regency was a great hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is getting on in years but still an excellent place to enjoy my vacation.

I like this hotel very much especially for the location which is I believe the best in Jeju. But every time I stay, there is always one big incident happen. This time my mum got aroun 10 BED BUG Bites... not to mention that, bathtub was moldy..... I really like this hotel and they take my reason to go back there away.. every time!!
