“Very nice place to stay at”

I have stayed in Aug. just one night but was satisfied with not only the room but complimentary wi-fi and welcome coffee in the lobby.

“Great location in Jasper.”

Nice hotel; our family enjoyed the outdoor jacuzzi too.

“Ok getaway for a weekend”

Beds were super comfy...pool and hot tubs were clean...a bit noisy, but it's an older hotel so you have to expect that. No wireless internet, even though it was advertised. It's at the edge of town, but everything is within walking distance. Because parking is limited, we walked everywhere once we found a spot. More than likely, if you're checking in "late" you'll be parking on the street.

“comfortable stay”

We had a great stay at the Tonquin...the view from our room was incredible! We had an issue with noisy neighbours one night and the front desk staff took care of it right away. Our kids enjoyed the beautiful pool and hot tub!

“ok but not great”

The hotel was affordable for our family. The beds were comfortable and the kids enjoyed the pool. The pipes/furnace made noise all night. The indoor and one of the outdoor hot tubs were luke warm. The toilet broke our third day there but was fixed quickly when we called. It was an ok hotel but I would probably book somewhere else next time.

“Not what I expected”

The Tonquin is at the far end of Jasper, which I understood from reading these reviews; not an issue since we had a car; and we did walk into town once and it wasn't a bad walk. Our room was on the second floor, no elevators and was a recently updated room. The updates I think were new mattresses and paint and carpet. The furniture was old and beat up. The bathroom is tiny, with a small sink in the room. We had two doubles, and there was barely room to get around them. The T.V was small and the coffeepot leaked the next morning, which we told the desk, but they didn't replace in the two days we were there. I don't think this hotel is worth the price, but it is Jasper. It was by far the most unispired, dated and expensive hotel we had on our 10 day trip. The new mattresses were comfortable though.

“Basic 3 star motel”

Tonquinn Inn is the second last block of town, but because Jasper is a small town, so everything is within walking distance. The Inn itself is okay, comfortable, though our room was extremely cramped because they squeezed two double beds into it. The bathroom could also use an update. But overall, it was okay.

“Not very impressed.”

Reception staffs are very friendly and helpful. They are good. The male phone operator is very average, not keen to help at all. The room is not that clean. Room is overdue for renovation. Lack of power outlets in the room. Wireless Net Connection is reasonably good. Good to have elevator service.

“Not so great hotel !!!”

It was noisy and you could hear other guest from your room. Good thing was that it had a full-kitchen and we had no problem getting kids to sit on the chairs and eat their breakfast...even though we paid for the free breakfast but were never told until check-out time. Service was terrible...when we arrive for check-in at 4:30PM, the room was not ready and we needed to wait for 15 minutes for them to clean it !!

“Pleasant, No Parking”

Nice experience, only complant would be parking. Had to park on an adjacent road due to lack of client parking.
