“Colin”
Noisy bar kept our kids awake. Tried to talk to the staff but they didn't seem to be able to do anything about it.
“A great retreat”
My daughter and I went for a couple of days of rest and relaxation. We received a complimentary upgrade when we arrived to our hotel. We didn't get a chance to use the pool but it looked well maintained. The parking lot had some construction going on but there was lots of parking in the rear of the lot. The beds were very comfortable and lots of pillows. Fresh creamers in the mini fridge for my coffee and the shampoo smelled minty fresh. Everyone was polite and kind. It was sad to leave. Jasper is a beautiful place to visit!
“Good Hotel”
The staff were very friendly. We ate at the Earthstone one evening and had their dry ribs and they were very comparable to Moxie's dry ribs. Hotel was very clean. We had 2 double beds in our room would of liked queen beds or one king in our room. A microwave would have been nice to have in our room as well. I had a massage at their day spa and found their prices far too high. The massage therapist was very friendly and very good though. While we were there, there was a wedding so when you pulled in later in the evening there was no place to park, so had to drive around until a parking spot was available. This hotel is the furthest hotel from the train station, so walking from the train station is a bit of a distance. We had rented a car from avis so not sure if the hotel shuttle would pick you up at the train stn. Avis had the best deals, which is on the same street as the train stn. and the sawridge. The sawridge had a gift shop that sold all kinds of items in case you forgot your toothbrush etc. Overall if you book this hotel you would be very pleased, very quiet location. Also next to an Esso station.
“OK - not great ...”
First room they put us in was over the bar, and we heard all sorts of noise. Window looked out into the restaurant, clean but not overly impressive.
“Nice hotel”
Nice hotel with friendly staff....Well maintained, corner in Jasper town. Worth for the money...
“Beautiful Mountain Retreat”
Beautiful hotel, friendly and knowledgable staff. Will definitely stay here again.
“Simdex”
Very unique, nice service and foods.
“Stayed in much much nicer accommodations for cheaper rates!”
This hotel was OK . The hotel was outdated but the rooms were clean, which is very important to my family. We stayed in many hotels on this trip and the Sawridge Inn in Jasper was the most expensive and the least attractive; clearly capitalizing on the area! The hotel staff were very friendly however and I would only recommend this hotel because it was clean but not a good value!
“Nice place and pleasant staff”
The room was decent, comfort and clean. The staff were friendly and pleasant. But they close the sauna/pool too early (at 7pm). The restaurant has a nice setting, but I would not recommend eating there, if you want to enjoy the taste of food, not just the appearance of it.
“most expensive for the level of this kind of hotel. Guess we are just suckers.”
we have been charged for a 4 star hotel but gettng a 2 star room. The most unblievable "DEAL" I have ever encountered. The food was bad in the dinning room and expensive. Completely not worth it.
