“Would definitly go back!”
It was a few blocks from town, but was still a good location. Restaurant had good food, and the service of everyone at the hotel was great! The beds are o.k., but could be more comfortable. Otherwise, everything was great!!!
“Works in a pinch”
The rooms are clean, plain. Hotel staff was not very helpful with connecting guests checking in at different times with each other. The sauna is in disrepair.
“Just average”
An average hotel, apart from the guy who served us in the bar who was great, staff service was average. Room was okay, but heating non functional and extractor fan in the bathroom did not work.
“Good value in Jasper”
Room very nice (3rd floor kitchenette). Restaurant OK. Reception staff appear to be students and were not that friendly, seemed like we were interrupting their chat, Maintenance and cleaning staff really nice. Only real negative is the guest room doors don't have automatic door closers so there is lots of door banging.
“The Lobstick Lodge”
The hotel was clean, the staff were nice. The breakfast was great and had lots of choices. Our only complaints about the hotel are the the pool was very cold and the beds were quite hard. Otherwise it was very nice and clean. The location was very quiet.
“quiet place to relax”
stayed over August long weekend, check in was quick, sign in and away to the room. This hotel is older but has had renovations keeping it up with the times. 3 stories with good access for all (elevators). friendly staff always with smiles. Rooms are well equiped, two king beds, small fridge, bath amenities,, clean, and bright. hotel has two restaurants, pool and hot tub. Setting is on the north east edge of town about 1 km to downtown with walking trail out the back side Would definately book again when returning to this beautiful area.
“Lobstick is Great!”
This is a great place to stay while visiting Jasper! It is in a quiet part of town and within walking distance of everything. We enjoyed our view of the mountains and with a small child the pool and hot tubs were inviting as a way to end our days of touring around.
“Clean and comfortable”
We only stayed at the Lobstick for one night, but found the room to be very spacious compared to other hotels we have stayed at. With 2 king size beds, there was still plenty of room to move around and be comfortable. A larger table area for laptop use would be nice, but it was free internet access, so no complaints. Although this hotel is not as new and fancy as some, it was well worth the price. The bathroom and room were very clean and well maintained. No air conditioner, but the windows opened and it was a nice change to sleep with fresh air. The pool area was good and the outside hot tubs were a nice change. We ate at the breakfast buffet and would definitely recommend eating here. We wished we would have tried this restaurant for supper as the food tasted fresh and was well prepared and worth the money. Lots of fresh fruit in the buffet. Hotel staff were very friendly. Overall, a very enjoyable night.
“Reasonable Hotel”
Good location for downtown.
“Room Was Clean but Noisy”
The hotel was really very nice and clean, the room was well kept and nicely appointed. The rooms that have ajoining door to the next room are rather noisy though. Also the third night of our stay the guests in the room above were very noisy as well through the ceiling. The pool and hot tubs were well used by our family and nicely kept. The hotels restaurant could use a bit of TLC and the breakfast buffet was plentiful but nothing that would make us want to eat there again. Overall I would stay again if I could get a room on the top floor and no ajoining door.
