“Good clean rooms”

This is a lovely hotel with nice amenities including an indoor pool and spa. I would have liked the heated pool to be bait warmer but managed to get in anyway. Breakfast was good with the continental but the full breakfast was a bit lacking with scrambled eggs, sausages and bacon being overbooked. Stick with the continental with lovely fresh fruit, yoghurt, toast, coffee and juice and you will be happy. Beds were good, Internet in room was also good. Reception seemed friendly and haven complaints.

“Jasper Surprise”

Given the general trend of reviews in tripadvisor we didnt expect Chateau Jasper to rate much better than an "ok" but it turned out to be a delightful hotel. We had a large, modern design room that was impeccably clean and in excellent condition. The hotel has all the facilties you could ask for in a winter resort hotel including a hot spa and indoor heated pool. The hotels location just ten minutes walk to the centre of town is ideal for building up a thirst and hunger to work out at one of Jaspers many bars and restaurants (we particularly liked the Dead Dog pub, the excellent Downstream pub/bar and the Inn restaurant at the Best Western). Added to all this is the great value for money available by stayting in Jasper right now with few tourists around and low room rates everywhere. Better still you wont have to queue for the chairlifts at Marnmot Basin - three days ago only there were only 250 people on the mountain which made it like skiing in a private resort!

“Clean but a little noisy.”

The hotel room was very clean, I couldn't find anything wrong with it. The blankets and bed were not so comfortable, kind of stiff. The heat was a little over-powering, even when off or low. Some neighbors staying in the hotel were a little noisy as well as some drunk people yelling outside around 2AM, but the later isn't the hotels fault. Parking quickly filled and it was difficult to find a parking spot later in the evening. The staff were professional and friendly enough, they allowed us to keep our car in their parking area after we checked out to go skiing and to pick it up later in the day.

“Good for the Fall pricing”

Good stay and priciing for the fall season, stayed 2 nights. Bed felt a bit firm but still OK. Good clean hotel, if a bit dated. Did get a bit concerned when got stuck in the front lift, pressed the alarm and eventually lift reset itself and got out. Staff did not respond at all. If you want to do self laundry you are directed to the Lobstick lodgel next door that is owned bt the same company, do not expect any courtesy from the reception there,! Other than that OK.

“Thanksgiving in Jasper”

Hotel was well kept, in good working order, we had the room next to the lobby and the only problem was you could here elevator room go on and off. The hotel is very nice, needs an update, but the staff make up for that, extremely nice, helpful and go the extra mile for you .. We had an amazing time....

I can't recommend Chateau Jasper highly enough - friendly, knowledgeable staff, comfortable rooms, convenient location. The icing on the cake is the fantastic hotel restaurant. Absolutely the best food in Jasper!
