“Almost good”
Clean rooms, comfortable place, but service was kinda awkward, a bit amateur. One receptionist was clearly not wishing to help at all. Another one recommended a restaurant that was closed. The restaurant at the hotel provided cold food and the waitress had no previous training for the job, although she was gentle.
“Farhan Ahmad”
It was a good nice hotel. Had to use a microwave but there was none available for guests. Towels were not available near the pool. The pool water was a bit cold but other than that everything was OK.
“Very nice; we'd go back.”
The Chateau Jasper is an older hotel that has been very nicely refurbished. The hotel is spotless, attractive; nicely appointed. The carpets look to be new as do the bathroom tiles. The rooms are large and very comfortable. I think they are set up to accommodate tour busloads and thus only have two double beds, but that certainly would not be a reason to avoid the hotel. They have a nice pool area with a hot tub. There is a nice trail not far up behind the hotel and one can walk above the town and enjoy a lovely view. We could hear the trains at night, but that would be in any Jasper hotel. We would stay there again; it would likely be our first choice.
“Thanksgiving in Jasper”
Hotel was well kept, in good working order, we had the room next to the lobby and the only problem was you could here elevator room go on and off. The hotel is very nice, needs an update, but the staff make up for that, extremely nice, helpful and go the extra mile for you .. We had an amazing time....
“Nice hotel worthy of revisiting”
nice location, quite, freindly service and spacious rooms. The price is reasonable too.
“Very comfortable for a one night stay.”
We only stayed one night in Jasper but the room was more then adequate for 4 adults. Lots of room to move about. We were even situated next to the elevator but could not hear it from inside our room. The sitting room/TV room secluded from the rest of the room was a nice touch if anyone wanted to watch some late night TV without distrubing the rest. Enjoyed the hot tub and swimming pool after a long day of sight seeing. Would have been nice if there was a complementary breakfast included as well but not with our booking.
“Good Clean Hotel”
Very nice place no real problems.
“ok, would maybe go back not sure”
wi fi didnt work in rm called # supposed to get back to us in 15mins never called. although it did work just fine in the elevator. car got scratched and what looked like thrown up on in parking lot , hot tub wasnt even warm, we only went down the once so who knows if it was hot any other time We ventured over next dr to the lobstick for dinner not a good choice ! rm was clean housekeeping staff very friendly
“not so family friendly”
the hotel is outdated and the beds are very uncomfortable, they claim to be family friendly but they have no lock on the door above the doorknob which is very unsafe as my 2 year old was able to open the door..we had to move furniture in front of the door so as to not "lose" her in the middle of the night....simple fix but very unsafe for families with small children..will not be staying there again anytime soon.
“rooms large and cost. Staff helpful. Easy walk into main street and information centre.”
Rooms large and warm. Staff helpful. Easy walk into main street and information centre. Heaps of eating places, close to greyhound and Rocky Mountainer. Pool and hot tub. Would return. Ian and Lesley from Western Australia.
