They had no staff on site!!! No housekeepers!
This was a first. I pulled up to the Econo Lodge to find a handwritten sign that their printer was down and to check in at the Super 8 across the parking lot. Turns out, they are both owned by the same people. They had two young 20-somethings that were also to run the Super 8, ALL BY THEMSELVES. They were the only good spot in this whole situation. Fatima and Ahmud(sp?) were staying calm and tried to be helpful, but there were no housekeepers for either hotel, and they had almost 2 dozen dirty rooms and no clean linens/towels. The manager answered their phone calls part of the time. How in the world do you own two hotels and staff them both with two people that were out of their depth with it. 1 of 10 rating, only because Fatima and Ahmud were trying their best and were being very courteous to me, and also to other customers who weren't as kind to the situation as I was.

Cheap hotel but there’s a reason why
It’s the cheapest hotel in Jamestown and there’s a reason for it. It’s old and it was mostly clean. However the mattress was so old it was caved in the middle. On both mattress’s. The shower barely had any water pressure. I cancelled my second night and went to a better hotel the next night

Have stayed at this property for several years, this trip unlike others was a complete disaster. No clean linens in 6 nights, room keys needed reprogramming 4 times. Must be new management? However I’ll not ever stay there again!

Stay away!!
This place is bad. The service started out well then went downhill fast. The faucet in the bathtub was broken and ran all night long. They couldn’t move me to another room because they weren’t cleaned. Then today they changed by debit card 2 times and my credit once. 😡

The hotel advertises it has a gym; It does not. The front desk was unoccupied for approximately thirty minutes at check in time leaving guests sitting in the lobby waiting for a room. The HVAC was extremely loud and intermittent. A significant number of items were out of order. The housecleaning staff were very nice and the only positive feature of this property.

Dirty towels in bathroom, no extra toilet paper, no chair for desk, bkankets were to thin and i had to go buy one, no alarm clock, continental breakfast was horrible and very thin walls. No desk persin had to call 0 and they wpuld come over from other motel next door

Great to spend the night!
The Econo Lodge was closed, but we stayed at the Super 8 across it. Friendly staff, spacious room, comfortable beds. We just needed a bed in a clean place to spend the night. We got it!

Poor communication
We arrived at the Econo Lodge and found a note at the front desk that said to go over to the Super 8 motel to check in. The person at the Super 8 said that the Econo Lodge had been overbooked and our reservation had been changed to the Super 8. That was a surprise to us since we did not receive an email telling us that our reservation had been changed.

Things started off badly when I was prompted to check in at the Super 8 next door and my booking had somehow been cancelled. Thankfully the desk clerk was able to help me out and the room was quite nice, so everything turned out okay.

Hotel looked very dirty, a ton of very loud people right as you walked in. There was no one at the desk or working in that hotel, so seemed like a free for all... When we pulled in someone was climbing out the hotel window and many people loitering around the doors and parking lot? Our reservation was actually double booked so we were moved to the super 8 across the parking lot. Unfortunately our room had a leaking pipe and it was raining in the bathroom, but the room looked clean overall. We did not end up staying and the front desk staff thankfully helped us cancel our reservation.

It was right off the interstate, easy to find, the gentleman at the desk was so nice. The rooms were clean and quiet and had newer air conditioners/heaters. We enjoyed our stay there. Also very reasonable.

This hotel is just fine if you are looking for a place to sleep. The room was decent! The hallway had bagged garbages sitting around. The front desk worker was very talkative and told me all the things I 'couldn't' do there such as dye my room, or paint my nails... very odd seeing I was checking in at 11 pm on a Thursday Night. When I was leaving at 8am the next morning, there were cop cars and an ambulance there but only one other vehicle in the parking lot other than mine... very strange.

I called ahead an hour and a half before I arrived to confirm my reservation, and the clerk said no problems. When we arrived, we were told they overbooked, and we didn’t have a room. It was 10:30 at night, and they didn’t offer to find us a room anywhere else. They didn’t call me, email me, or text me to let me know they’d given away my reserved room, which was already paid for. I picked Econo Lodge because we had no use for a pool. The place we finally found had a water park, and cost us $200 more for the weekend.

Very clean and comfortable, staff were helpful and pleasant. I forgot my charger for my phone so I couldn't use that for alarm. Only complaint is they don't have alarm clocks in their rooms.

I received a confirmation and was later informed that the hotel was overbooked and that the charge would be cancelled. I was using a $72 reward night that I would like reactivated. I wound up spending $117 as a walk-in elsewhere with no hotels.com credit.

I looked in to your confirmation but it didn't show up on our reservations, so I am assuming the confirmation came from Hotels. com and not our EconoLodge.
