I called ahead an hour and a half before I arrived to confirm my reservation, and the clerk said no problems. When we arrived, we were told they overbooked, and we didn’t have a room. It was 10:30 at night, and they didn’t offer to find us a room anywhere else. They didn’t call me, email me, or text me to let me know they’d given away my reserved room, which was already paid for.
I picked Econo Lodge because we had no use for a pool. The place we finally found had a water park, and cost us $200 more for the weekend.
