Very Unprofessional staff at check in. Room wasn’t well cleaned at check in and have the housekeeping to cleaned it well. Floors tiles are cracked and AC didn’t work very well. Food was great and I had to extant stay and front desk staff gave me reasonable rate for my third night stay. Amenities were out dated ant it’s not worth staying the price you pay.

Beautiful but needs to improve
Stayed for 9 days in this Beautiful hotel but a few areas need to be improved like Electric sockets in the gym! hair salon /spa generally needs a revamp. Communication is very bad about when staff are available for facials or massage. It is not 5* by European standards but 3/4* . Pool area is lovely but occasionally I spotted litter. Communication at breakfast/restaurant needs to improve due to lack of understanding when requests are made. Rooms are good size and housekeeping very good. The staff try very hard to please but sadly can't always deliver simple requests so guests need a lot of patience.

Should start off by noting that we are NRIs from the US - that way those reading this are familiar with our baseline. Pros: Very Friendly (Bilingual) Staff Clean Lobby Smooth Check-in Process Location (it's the only decent hotel near Phagwara, but definitely not 5-star by our standards.) AC and Hot Water (that work) Beautiful Grounds Good Food (not Great, but definitely better than I expected.) Cons: Rooms are dated such that bathrooms ge rusted pipes, broken marble in some places and faucets as well.) Poor lighting in rooms (more of a concern for women wanting to do their makeup.) TV does not have many English channels Shower has a minimal threshold so water gets out onto the floor. The LIGHTING SYSTEM - omG. It is operated via a small box on the nightstand and half the buttons don't work so you end up switching all the lights off or on - no in-between. The smell - thought not particularly a bad smell, you do still smell that "moldy" / dusty smell of "India" even in your room. Breakfast Buffet - decent quality but poor variety (mostly Indian - was expecting more continental food.) Overall, a 3/5 by our standards.

It was a business trip for me. It's the first time I stayed at this property. It's a good,well-maintained property on the Ludhiana-Jalandhar highway. The staff members are very warm and helpful and the food is good too. It's location is very convenient for anyone who plans to visit the Lovely Professional University or other places nearby.

Lovely hotel with pleasant staff
We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights, the room was comfortable and despite large weddings going on in the functions areas we slept well. The restaurant was good value and good food.

Swimming pool is dirty, no hot water to shower, poor room service and poor transport facilities from hotel. Definitely not a 5* hotel and not worth over £100 per night.

Nice Hotel in Phagwara
Great place to hang your clothes to use the Cabanna as a base which has clean rooms, comfortable beds and a well kept property. Only down fall I had was that the breakfast buffet was very limiting in its food offering compared with other hotels in the immediate area along with the front desk staff were not very accommodating for simple requests.

Reception staff had a good understanding of English and were attentive. The gym facilities were extensive and need to make more of the badminton courts and squash courts on there website. The games room has two snooker tables that one has a torn cloth and all the snooker cues have lost their tips and requires replacing. The staff understood basic English behind the bar and overall were good but not that sharp in delivering orders. The breakfast buffet is a good standard and wide selection, the egg chef gets changed from day to day from a good one to a stand in. The dinner is a good standard as well. The interior is of a high standard but has been neglected for 20 years and starting to look tired and need to schedule in a refurbishment plan. It is not a problem now but in a few years it will start to look tired. Each room was set up differently and the settings for the air-conditioning required the services of room service to locate the controls.

The service and attitude of the hotel was dreadful. I would never go back. The staff smile but do not help or understand simple requests and I spoke Punjabi to them. The food is below average for the hotel. The staff did not return our change for a local telephone call which the other 8 hotels we stayed in did not even charge for. The bathroom should have just a shower, the shower curtain was dirty, the plaster in the bathroom had a hole in it. The WC was so close to the shower it may have just as well been in the shower. The staff need to clean the rooms throughly.

Nice and enjoyable hotel
Nice hotel but our stay was marred by insufficiently informed staff and not good state of repair of the shower unit. Floor got flooded from the shower spray leaking by the side of screen, wall bracket for the shower was missing. The reception staff though very nice and welcoming gave us the impression that they could do with some further training. All the rooms do not have bath tub, this facility being restricted to executive suites. But for these inadequacies, the hotel can merit 4.5 marks out of 5. I trust that the management will take notice and make it an outstanding hotel in the region. Overall, enjoyable stay.

Missed my MOM's Paranrhas.
Whilst I felt comfortable staying at the hotel, but not including the breakfast in the price was out of order. I have travelled half way around the world and almost all hotel prices include the breakfast within their prices. Having paid for the breakfast I found it well below par and the quality of the food was not Punjabi as I expected. But than I thought of the poplar song "This can only happen in INDIA" which more or less comforted me. Decorations and shower quality was of very poor standard, is if done by non professional builders considering you call it a five star hotel.

The staff were friendly and helpful. A few language differences required patience & understanding with the bar staff (I suspect because they don't have many drinking customers & it's not in the City frequented by international travellers. We were visiting people who lived an hour away. Otherwise we only have good things to say about our stay. It was also very good value for money & room-rates compared to other hotels. Would recommend & stay again.

I went to Phagwara for family wedding which was also slated to be in same hotel, so I thought to stay there as it will be convenient to attend the function while staying there. Wedding venue was beautiful, hotel entry and lobby was fine, there story ends. Rooms section of the hotel was not in condition what we call 4 star properties.

This Hotel i would recommend highly. The only complaint would be the breakfast buffet is ok but needs to be a lot better in variety
