Hotel is outdated, old carpet, strong smell… rooms look bigger in the picture. When you actually go in it’s pretty small, the carpet MUST GO! It’s stinky and honestly in 2024 at the price we payed, we should not have to walk on carpets. Sofa bed looked old, we were 5 we needed to open the sofa bed but instead we squeezed in 2 beds. Disappointing….
The breakfast wasn't good. No variety. The waffle machine didn't work. Didn't have a lot of food. The hotel room wasn't clean. The microwave was filled with coffee. They had to clean it also the shower was filled with hair. The TV didn't work. I called front desk they called the cable company to reset and it still didn't work.I over heard people talking about the door wouldn't close and the air conditioner didn't work. I was shock for this to be part of the Marriot Hotels. I never had problems with their hotels. Also I was told they were under staff so I would have to request for house cleaning.

Jacksonville, Florida, United States of America - Was absolutely filthy and unsafe. I have video and photos. I contacted the staff upon experiencing violence in the hallway and direct harassment from the guests. They were unruly. Sprinhill was understaffed and overpopulated. The property was dirty and smelled awful. I WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN.
I wasn’t pleased with the property as my bed sheets were dirty with stains and my towels and wash cloths were dirty as well. The carpet was really dirty alao
My hotel room had issue after issue. Immediately after checking into my room I went to the front desk to say that the lock wouldn’t move and the door therefore wouldn’t close. The girl working at the front who was wonderful came and showed me I had to lift the lever to get it to work. When leaving in the morning the following day it took me almost 10 minutes to get the door closed doing it the way she said.
There was an odd smell in my room the entire time. On my second nights stay I noticed it was coming from the water in the toilet, so I closed the toilet lid and door to the bathroom. I will add that I was staying alone for business and had no closed the door previously. When I woke up in the middle of the night to use the restroom I found that I was locked out of the bathroom completely. Such a nightmare as I had limited time to sleep and found that waiting for someone to unlock a bathroom door at 3am was not worth the time. Horrendous. I would never stay at this hotel again! Nice staff but the rooms need to be fixed!!
Also nobody came to clean my room and the drawers in the night stands had crumbs. Definitely do not recommended.
The hotel was nice and clean. The staff were nice and friendly. Overall loved the hotel and will definitely come back again

SO....they had a fire alarm one night about 1030pm that evacuated all of us for over an hour.. apparently a fire suppression head went off down the hall in 518 and flooded the top floor hallway to some extent as well. We were in 505 and had to listen to fans running for days to dry the flood...and smell the wet carpets, etc. flood went thru conduit and dripped form lights in the lobby too. I think we should not have been charged full price for the remaining 3 days of our stay? Dave Lansang
Check in was great and easy plus helpful. A few issues with lobby ac condensation and equipment in some areas also maids not clear on guest trying to leave which seemed disrupting as we need to get to appts in the morning but could not get out of the way.. but it's a good area and reasonable Marriott with pool and jacuzzi that helped our stay for the evening.

This is a facility that is dated in appearance and functionality and needs renovation pronto. When I arrived I had to wait approximately 30 minutes to check-in because the customer ahead of me was upset with their accommodations. The desk clerk was doing her best so my poor review of the hotel should not reflect on her. She deserves a raise for having to work at such a dilapidated property. In regards to the room, the A/C barely worked and there was no TV remote but I was able to get one from the desk clerk. At around 10:30pm the fire alarm went off and all the guests had to evacuate the building. We had to wait outside for about two hours in the late evening on a chilly night. Needless to say, I will not be staying at this property again.
